From the other side of the room, the psychic Pokemon spoke up briefly. "Alakazam." It almost sounded like a warning to the plasma Pokemon. However, the Rotom did not seem to mind the tone, and continued to do as it pleased with the widest of grins on its face, almost as if to match its owner.

A deeply amused noise escaped the hacker when it was implied that 1337 would ever think of doing something with Kunai. "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF... oh... that's rich!" he bellowed out, laughter escaping him to the point where it was getting hard to breathe. He even had to set the memory board down in his knee so he could prop himself up with his hands. Somewhere amidst all of the laughter, he pointed out his problem with the implication. "I don't sleep with chicks that look like their in middle school!" Kunai could have been 30 something, but with the way she looked, 1337 would never even consider such activities.

The laughter wasn't about to ease up at any point, for even the hypothetical situation which Izzy attempted to bring forward was full of flaws. The main one being that someone could figure out how to blindfold him. It wasn't exactly as straight forward a task as it would be for a normal person. Even if someone figured out the right way to do things, there were still ways around such.

Once the wheel of the chair began to roll forward and seemed as if it was going to successfully hit its target, the target began to glow blue and soon enough seemed to float up and into the hacker's lap so it wasn't crushed as readily as the grunt desired. A certain Alakazam had been monitoring things in his own way. The hacker probably would have fussed over needing to fix up his pet project, so it was out of respect the Alakazam saved him this hassle.

Shortly after he felt the laptop settled in his lap, the hacker's laughter seemed to quiet down a bit. "Goodness... you'd almost think I was annoying you or something, Izzy-chan, desu desu desu desu!" Quite pointedly, the hacker turned his whole head to face the one in the wheelchair, that ever constant grin upon his face. "So... have you finished up your research yet today?"
PostPosted: Thu Dec 22, 2011 2:24 pm

"For someone as promiscuous as you make yourself out to be, you certainly are picky," Grunt Nakura commented, laughing lightly along with the hacker. "Why didn't you just say that from the beginning? What did you think I was talking about when I asked if she was too short and blunt for your tastes?" If he had absolutely no interest in her for sex, then what interest did he have in her? Well, earlier, he did mention that she was his boss. That was probably it.

With 1337 laughing as hard as he was, Izaya didn't bother with any more hypothetical situations. He was too busy watching the laptop being relocated by the Alakazam's psychic powers. He'd guessed something like that would have happened sooner or later, but as HaXX0rz hadn't made any interference up until that point, he thought he'd have given it a try. The informant looked over at the Psychic-type and winked in acknowledgement.

His attention returned to the agent when he was addressed, his smile still in place. "Oh? What makes you say that, Lee-chii~?" Izaya asked, feigning ignorance. At least until his 'research' was mentioned. "Eeeeh? Nani?" His smile broadened ever so slightly.

HaXX0rz was working now. The slight acknowledgment tossed in his direction pretty much went ignored.

ROFL, on the other hand, seemed to have finished teasing Izaya's hair. With a chittering snicker, the plasma Pokemon floated up and towards the Alakazam. In a similar manner to how it had with the grunt, it settled down on the Psi Pokemon's head. However, unlike the grunt, the rotom decided to start chewing on the Alakazam's ear.

HaXX0rz was not amused.

Due to the fact 1337 wasn't exactly the most mobile person in existence at the moment, he was merely sitting on the ground, legs out flat. His lap now had basically all pieces of his equipment there. As if to make a point, the hacker turned his face away, and with his left hand it looked as if he was typing something out on an invisible keyboard. Once his fingers had stopped typing, he then began to work on replacing the panel on the back of the machine he had been working on this whole time.

Somewhere in the back of his head, 1337 was counting the seconds. However, all he did was smile silently as he worked. Loud deafening silence with the sound of a chittering Rotom chewing on an Alakazam's ear.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 22, 2011 4:20 pm

The informant spared a brief glance at the pair of 1337's pokemon, wondering if the ghost had a brain at all. He was trying to ignore the fact that 1337 had once again turned his attention away from Grunt Nakura, certain that this time he was pretending to do it on purpose. Whatever the agent's visor showed him, it must have been more than he seemed to have an attention span for. So far 1337 had only proven to be distressingly observant.

Similar to when he had been in Seth's office with Faleen a while back, Izaya Orihara forced himself to remain quiet and calm. It was killing him, but he was determined to manage it. He was not going to let the hacker get the best of him, particularly not while he seemed to be at his emotional weakest. No one was supposed to know that.

"Very funny," he said at last, trying to wheel his way back to his computer at the corner of the room, away from 1337. Unfortunately, with only one useful arm, this proved rather more difficult than it sounded, and he had to make zig-zagging motions while switching from one wheel to the other in his advancements. "Okay, I'll admit it; I don't like being ignored. Or staying silent. Aren't you the same, though?" the grunt asked, not glancing back behind him. "Isn't that why you draw so much attention to yourself all the time and act out?"

By the time the grunt made his way back to the computer he had been at, he'd notice that there was a word document that had not been open before. In large text, there was a message waiting just for the Grunt:

"Be careful what you do on a networked computer, Izzy-chan 8DDDDDDDDDDD"

With Izaya retreating, 1337 was able to spread himself out a bit more, setting loose pieces on the ground again now that the wheelchair wasn't serving as a potential destructive force. He screwed the screws back in place and soon enough the computer seemed to be back in order, minus the memory board still perched on his knee.

Now that he had finished up for now, he turned to face the seemingly retreating Grunt. "There's a saying... 'Takes one to know one!' There are probably differences... but there are similarities between us." With that, the hacker pulled out a Pokeball. Holding it out, he aimed the red beam of light towards the Plasma Pokemon, recalling it back into hiding.

The Alakazam nodded his head in gratitude.

At the sight of the open document, Izaya could not suppress his giggles. He closed the file and leaned against the tabletop on which the monitor was perched, pushing himself out of the chair and using the table for support instead. Turning around, he aimed with the wheelchair and shoved it with all the force he could muster towards the hacker seated comfortably on the floor. Nevermind that it could go astray from its path and crash into the rows of other computers all through the lab.

He laughed aloud. "There are far more differences than similarities, I'm pretty certain," the grunt replied. "You like women for sex, but you probably don't have any real interest in human beings and their psychology. Observing them is my hobby. The most observing you do is watching their internet activities and making fun of them for it later." He rested his cast-imprisoned arm on his monitor and leaned his other arm's elbow on the table, propping up his chin with a hungry grin. Izaya wanted to know more. He could never know enough.

"You specialize in technicalities - things you can learn from books. But how are your critical thinking skills? What can you derive from my 'research'?" His crimson eyes narrowed, though his grin remained. "Do you really know what I was up to? Could you possibly know why? I doubt it." His last words sounded more like a challenge than a definitive statement. As if he were daring 1337 to tease him for looking up his late recruiter's data.

1337 saw the wheelchair coming after Izzy childishly giggled in amusement at the message on the monitor. Most people would have gotten out of the way or tried to stop it. Heck, the Alakazam could have stopped it for him.

If the hacker had wanted such at least.

The wheelchair easily crashed into the still target, who still was smiling like nothing was wrong. Once the wheels had crashed into his thighs and the arm rests had promptly jabbed him in the ribs, all that the hacker could get out was a deeply amused laughter. It was almost like a replay of earlier, except the wheelchair was empty this time. Of course, Izaya was talking amidst all of this, but 1337 didn't really seem to care. He was amused as all hell.

Once his laughter was starting to calm, he waggled a finger at the fellow on the other side of the room. "You... I like you!" Reasons weren't given, but somehow 1337 didn't think Izaya would care for reasons if they were given. The grunt definitely had a very specific way of thinking.

"A-a-and..." 1337 eventually added in a slightly musical tone "I never quantified where the differences and similarities went." He did manage to catch the jab about what 1337's skills were, but it just meant that Izzy would be in for a potential surprise later on.

"That is one difference between the two of us, Izzy-chan... I like mysteries staying as mysteries, where as you like to figure everything out. Sigh-Chaw-Loh-Gee..." (Psychology mispronounced on purpose) "...isn't as fun as testing limits for me." 1337 quite dramatically lay back so his whole body was spread out on the ground now. "So where as you were lookin' up some dead b*tch who saved your life... I don't really have an interest in the reasons."

Plus it went unmentioned that the Alakazam probably cheated a bit in that department.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 22, 2011 7:42 pm

The crimson-eyed man didn't even flinch as the wheelchair made an impact. He was admittedly surprised that 1337 did nothing to get out of the way and that the Alakazam did nothing to prevent it, but his countenance revealed nothing. Nothing but his usual, secretive sneer - a smile that showed not the slightest hint of emotion.

He too was amused by his fellow computer lab occupant; more than words could express. Sure, one could have chalked up 1337's actions (or lack thereof) to some sort of strange masochism, but Izaya thought he knew better. This was fun. For once, here among his fellow Rockets, was an unpredictable human.

"Now who's confessing to who, Leeeee-chan~?" Izaya jeered playfully, reaching for something inside his coat pocket. There were a couple of brief flashes of light in the dark of the lab, but when he withdrew his hand, it was empty. His gaze never left 1337. "But as you may already know, the sentiment is mutual."

Nakura glanced HaXX0rz's way. "Mmm...I've been thinking about getting me one of those for some time, now. Must be handy, being able to read your opponents' mind. Almost like a god." He tilted his head, resting his temple on his shoulder as he looked at the agent sideways. "Psychic types are fascinating, but not as fascinating as humans, of course."

Izaya snickered, but his eyes remained as sharp and dangerous as ever, his smile not quite reaching them. "Heh...if you like mysteries so much, why are you cheating? No matter how I try to figure things out, there will always be unexpected twists and turns, and that's where the fun is. Haven't you figured out that testing people's limits is figuring out their psychology? Once you find what flusters them; what riles them up, then you can get them to do whatever you want - even if they don't know it."

A brief tremor overtook the informant's body, and he needed to sit down in one of the other chairs in front of the computers. He did not approve of Aila being talked about like that, but hell if he was going to let 1337 see. Damn it, if only his Alakazam wasn't helping him...it probably could feel every vibe of anger pulsing off Nakura.

But that was alright. Let HaXX0rz tell 1337 just how much Izaya was suffering. Let him tell his trainer that the grunt would make him take back his words - and not for some silly sentiment. Simply because Izaya did not let others get away with teasing him. He let the darkness of the room hide his face as he continued to tremble - not from grief this time, but silent laughter. If the Alakazam cared to pass on his mental images to his master, let him. He didn't think 1337 would be too pleased to recieve them, though - unless he was, as possibly hinted at before - a masochist.

Meanwhile, a couple of small, shadowy figures picked their way across the floor, under the tables, legs, and wires of the room's furniture. The pair of creatures made their way delicately and as inconspicuously as possible to 1337, where one of them crawled up onto his chest.

"Purrloin," she said, smiling down at 1337's visor-covered face, before stepping a dainty paw onto his throat so she could reach the wires that connected to his visor to bat at them.

From the spot he was flopped down, the tall man shrugged, rolling his shoulders against the ground beneath him. "I don't use him for that. I use him as a coder. He has been handy lately, but it's not his primary task." Alakazam were infamous for their intelligence, which was a trait which 1337 took advantage of whenever it suited him.

There was a bit of an assumption in Izaya's words, something that was not going to get mentioned by the hacker as he seemed to remain relaxed on the ground. Testing limits wasn't as narrow a scheme as the grunt seemed to imply. He'd remain ignorant of the potential can of worms he had opened up.

The Alakazam could easily sense the anger and intense feelings coming from the grunt, but he continued on with his current task. It was as his trainer had stated. HaXX0rz was not used to predict things, nor to share personal thoughts. So the Psi pokemon easily kept the information to himself.

1337 let the grunt seethe in hatred (that he was 100% oblivious to) as he momentarily found himself distracted by a Pokemon. Rather than make a fuss, all he did was simply ask "Sup?" to the cat now accompanying him.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 22, 2011 8:23 pm

The feline, delighted at being acknowledged, pounced from the man's chest to 1337's face and purred.

"Mairu, what are you doing?" a dull voice asked as Izaya returned to checking his e-mail, his focus not seeming to be on the purrloin. "Get away from that. You don't know where it's been."

As if to spite the grunt, the little dark type licked 1337's cheek and cried, "Purr, purrloin!" before hopping down from his face and rubbing against his hair. Her trainer snorted in disgust.

"You'd better watch those two," he warned the agent. "They never listen to me, so I don't even bother. In fact, I think they listen to every Rocket but me. Not that it hinders their innate need to cause trouble and steal things," he added, catching sight of the second purrloin twin out the corner of his eye.

The darker and older of the two, Kururi, paused when she saw she had been spotted, carrying one of 1337's lighter tools in her jaws.

Face. Full. Of. Cat.

As a result, the hacker puffed up his cheeks just before the feline licked him. After the Purrloin had finished and moved onto his hair, 1337 emptied out the air from his mouth, making a near raspberry sound.

"Note taken..." With his left hand, he once more air typed out something which only the Alakazam could see as a series of 0s and 1s in the window. The Pokemon glanced over the message, then turned to his trainer. There were only certain objects which were actually valuable. The laptop and the memory board began to glow blue and soon enough began to float towards where the Alakazam was working.

With the real concerns taken care of, 1337 just stretched himself out, as if he was getting cozy. "So are ya a traded Pokemon?" he asked in an unconcerned tone to whichever of the Purrloins were about.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 22, 2011 8:55 pm

Kururi, noticing the objects behind her glow and move, quickly abandoned her insignificant trophy and immediately leapt for the laptop, aiming to land on it. With a tiny yelp, she missed, attempting to catch herself on the memory board instead, claws out in the hopes of getting some purchase on the new surface.

Whether she actually deemed the floating objects of value or only went for them because they were suddenly glowing with a bright, shiny light and moving, it was hard to say. When she was close enough to the keyboard that the Alakazam was working on, however, she released the memory board and landed on a bunch of keys instead.

Mairu, meanwhile, continued to nuzzle and rub against 1337, finally curling up in the crook of his neck. "Purrrr~" she mewed near his ear.

At the same time, Izaya tapped the 'enter' button on his own keyboard, sending the e-mail to the hacker's Rocket address. The message read something like this:

01010100 01101000 01100101 01111001 00100000 01100010 01100101 01101100 01101111 01101110 01100111 01100101 01100100 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01101101 01111001 00100000 01110100 01110111 01101001 01101110 00100000 01110011 01101001 01110011 01110100 01100101 01110010 01110011 00101110

He half smirked at Mairu's antics, deciding that her treatment of 1337 was close enough to ROFL's own treatment of him.

1337 got mail!

Like earlier, the hacker flicked his finger slightly, opening the email on the monitor unseen to anybody but himself. A quick glance over the zeros and ones, he was easily able to read the message. It wasn't exactly like 1337 needed such specifics, despite asking aloud a rather generic question.

"I apparently attract the p***y still!" he said with a humored chuckle as the Pokemon seemed to try to butter him up.

HaXX0rz, on the other hand, was not enjoying his new company. She was a dark type, so he had no real ability to do anything about her presence. She had tried to go for 1337's tech, but fortunately missed for the most part. The memory board would need a bit of a looking over at a later time.

"...Kazam..." he stated plainly after the feline pushed a bunch of keys on the keyboard he had been working at. It was a simple request to the Purrloin to leave the keyboard alone.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 22, 2011 9:25 pm

(。_°☆\(- - ) バシっ!

was the contents of the next message Grunt Nakura sent, seemingly out of boredom, or perhaps annoyance at 1337's 'p***y' comment. It was a Japanese emote for beating or striking someone, since 1337 seemed to enjoy using Japanese terminology to mock him.

01000001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100001 00100000 01101101 01100001 01110011 01101111 01100011 01101000 01101001 01110011 01110100 00111111

followed soon after. Scooting with his new chair, albeit somewhat painfully, Izaya eventually lay himself down next to 1337 on the ground beside him. He continued to smile. "That's not all you attract~" he murmured, turning on his side to grab 1337's arm and cling to it like a teenage girl. "So...what was that about you liking me...?"

The darker purrloin paused when she was addressed by the much larger, more experienced pokemon. She sat obediently where she was once he had asked her to leave the keyboard alone. Unfortunately, having little to no knowledge of keyboards, the feline's bottom seated itself smack dab in the middle of the board, thinking that as long as she didn't move or press any more buttons, she would be good.

"Purr," she uttered very quietly to the Alakazam, apparently much more meek than her outgoing younger twin. She dipped her head in apology. Her curiosity had gotten the better of her. What did all these things do? She looked around anxiously, but dared not move another step. Her tail twitched in anticipation.

1337 got mail (again)! The contents of the message got 1337 laughing again, though he didn't actually answer it. However, Izaya's efforts to make his way to where the hacker was laying was hard to ignore. It was almost a bit painful to listen to. It wasn't a surprise when he heard the grunt lay down. However, the grip that was soon taken to his arm did get his attention.

"I like you, no homo," he clarified. "I mean, I can understand if ya think I am a hot piece of a**... but sorry, already went into this earlier!" 1337 glanced towards the grunt latched to his arm without turning his head (though it would be impossible to confirm this from the outside of his visor).

Probably not the best of situations to be in.

With that thought in mind, the Agent began to sit himself upright, despite how the one purrloin and the grunt were attached to him.

The Alakazam couldn't understand the dark Pokemon. Most Pokemon he could hear easily, despite the music blaring in his ears. However, considering where the Pokemon had seated herself down, he soon enough had to speak up again. "Kazam..." A simple request to move from the spot.
