"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Shooting Donny a glare, she made a note to elbow the boy harder next time. For now, though, she shrugged; there was nothing else that she could think of to say. "Alright. Maybe Donny is right. Won't your daddy have more kids?"

"No way. My daddy loves me and if he loves me then he'll only have me." The girl declared. Donny help put the fear in her about not wanting to have siblings. The blue haired boy pushed his glasses up as he pulled up a yogurt for his desert since he could eat sweets. Yvette pulled out a bag of chocolate Chip Cookies.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Swallowing her food quickly to talk, Lyn spoke up again. "What? But my daddy had more kids..." She frowned for a few moments, starting on a new carrot stick while she contemplated Yvette's words. She still spent lots of time with her father, and despite all the negative things, she loved playing patty-cake when the twins were awake. "He still loves me." she said with a faint smile, feeling more confident now. "It's pretty cool, Vetty. More parents means more presents on birthdays, too." Her smile grew as she recalled her last birthday, which was only last month; she'd recieved gifts from all three adults.

Donny wasn't going to say anything. He's parents were happily married. They were weird as well. "I don't care. I only want my mommy and daddy, and you guys." The girl said as a Indian girl walked by with a big book and a pair of glasses. The girl was of course familiar to Lyn who had seen the other girl when her aunt demanded everyone come over for a BBQ or picnic.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Glad that Donny had remained silent, rather than ruin her words again, she chomped happily on her last carrot stick. Yvette's mind wouldn't be changed, even she could tell. Opening her mouth to speak again, she closed it quickly as the sun got in her eyes. Leaning to the the side, she caught a glimpse of a girl she knew as her cousin. True, they weren't exactly closely related, but family was family to Lyndis. Jumping up, she called out brightly, "Hey, Ewoyn!" She waved energetically, then beckoned for the girl to join them as she explained quickly to her friends, "She's my cousin."

The girl looked over at her juniors. The young woman was in the same year as them. "It's Eowyn." She told them as she walked over to them. "Like the Lord of the Rings character." She added so they could get the sound right. There was no doubt that at leas one of them saw the movie. "Did you know that there is a new student?" She asked them.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Hearing the correct in her name, Lyndis shrugged it off, telling her honestly, "That's strange...Can't I just call you wyn?" She smiled, liking the parellel between 'wyn' and lyn'. When she mentioned the popular book and movie series, she shook her head. "My parents won't let me watch a PG-13 before I'm thirteen." She frowned momentarily; the age of thirteen felt like it was lightyears away. Brightening up at the mention of a new student, she shook her head. Usually, she wasn't behind on such things, but it seemed like she'd missed this bit of information. "Boy or girl?"

Eowyn rolled her eyes. "Yes." She answered to her nickname. She really didn't like it that much, but she wasn't going to fight for a new nickname. She then looked at her some-what cousin. "A boy. An Elf boy. He's in my class, his name is Elendil." She answered the other girl. Donny started to choke on his juice. It took a moment or two before he could say anything. "He's pretty much my brother." The boy answered to who he was. "He shares the same mom as my older sister." Describing him a little. "Is he cute?" Yvette spoke up from her pout. "I guess. He has green eyes and blond hair, fairly tall, pointed ears."

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Great, another cootie carrier. The only positive thing she could associate with this new boy was that he was an elf. She'd never met a full-blooded elf before, so she supposed that being polite to Elendil was best way to learn more about the race. Hearing a choking sound, Lyndis looked up with worry, but clapped a hand on Donny's back until he managed to clear his throat and speak. "Your brother? Invite him to play with tomorrow, then." She smiled, turning to Yvette when she spoke. Surprise fluttered across her face; she'd thought it odd to talk about other boys in front of a current crush. Still, she knew little on the matter, and instead returned her attention to the conversation. "He's sounds alright, I guess."

"I guess I could do that, but when you first meet him you'll have to call him Prince Elendil. He's second in line and if you don't know him then you call him that." The half angel warned. Then again there were two princesses in the group so he may allow them to address him more casually. Eowyn was going to have the hardest time. "A prince? So cool. That makes him marriage candidate for Lyn." Eowyn rolled her eyes. She was just a rich kid. Her mother and grandfather were doctors and her grandmother was a designer.

Amira Josephine Windstorm, Third Daughter of the Basileus

After their sister's grand return to Urbem Ventum, the royal family had been reassured that the surface had suitable educational systems behind the Veil. In a show of trust, the Basileus sent his youngest children to the elementary school suggested while leaving the option of Reed's open to the older set of siblings. While his second oldest daughter flat out refused, his sons are still debating the merits of such. While the two were wary about the surface at first, they agreed when they were told that Icarus, Mihael, or Rina would walk them through the portal and to school every day.

At the lunch hour, Amira sought out her brother. While she had met a few other students in her class, she knew that her brother was rather shy with people outside his family. She couldn't help but notice the way students were gathered in small groups scattered across the yard, and she had selected a spot on the edge of a group of trees just out of the sun for her and her brother. The young princess could hear voices nearby, but she ignored them as she watched her brother intently.
"Orion, you have to eat your pear. Rina and Ix said so." the older sister scolded her brother, who was staring at the fruit like it might bite him. The use of his eldest sister's name did the trick, just as Amira had intended, and the little boy bit into the fruit."See? Not so bad!" the girl commented, noticing the lack of a repulsed expression on her little brother's face. The boy nodded, leading to a triumphant expression appearing on his sister's face. Her own pear rested in her hand, already half eaten.

A tall Elvish boy with pale blond hair and green eyes looked over towards Amira. It was clear that his lunch was traditional Elvish dishes. He's clothing was on the fancy side. He wore a white dress shirt with a tunic that was green and lined with silver and brown trousers. He wanted to go over to the siblings, but he was too shy to do so.

Amira Josephine Windstorm, Third Daughter of the Basileus

Looking up at the feeling of someone looking at her, Amira's eyes fell on a boy who looked to be about her age. He bore a slight resemblance to her little brother, though the pointed ears and fancy dress were a dead give away. While she and Orion were dressed nicely, she in a white modern belted frock with a pattern of flowers and her brother in black pants and a longer shirt, they weren't dressed quite that fancy. It reminded her of the more traditional clothing of her people from older paintings, but nothing that was commonly worn in the capital any more. There was a tint of longing in his eyes, and his stance and expression made her think him shy; that was the sort of expression he wore when not surrounded by family. Glancing at her brother, who had also noticed but had instead turned his attention back to his pear, the princess eventually raised a hand to wave at him. This would either serve as an invitation or cause him some sort of distress. Amira hoped it was the former, as she certainly was not opposed to making friends. Straightening the bow that her older sister had put in her hair that morning, she finished her pear while maintaining a curious gaze on the other boy.

Elendil noticed the girl wave him over. He finished part of his bread before walking over to the siblings. He looked at both of them up and down before opening his mouth. "I am Prince Elendil, second in line for the throne of the Elves in the Western Woods." The boy declared his name and title in a formal sounding voice. "My mother is Princess Unborn." The boy added declaring how he earn the title.

Amira Josephine Windstorm, Third Daughter of the Basileus

Pleased that the boy decided to approach them, the princess straightened a bit as he looked them up and down. Orion had turned to look at him curiously, taking the last bite of his pear as the boy began to speak. Amira was a bit surprised that he spoke so formally, though his title did explain why. When he finished, Amira straightened her skirt a bit before speaking."My name is Amira Josephine Windstorm, third princess and very far from the throne of Urbem Ventum." she responded, her tone just as formal. She may have been young and far from the throne, but she was still well versed in the ways and mannerisms of royalty. "This is my little brother Orion Demetrius Windstorm, sixth prince and also quite far from the throne." she indicated her brother with one hand, who gave a nod of acknowledgement. "Our father is the Basileus, the Sylphid equivalent of a monarch." their culture was the only one that seemed to use the term, so she instead chose to explain. She had chose the term 'monarch' as the title could belong to either gender, so long as it was in the royal line. Their mother may be queen, but it wan't through her that they earned their titles. Orion put his pear core in the plastic bag with his sister's, picking up a carrot stick and munching on it. To him, all this formal speak was total nonsense; he didn't care who was royalty and who wasn't, but it seemed that the other boy thought differently. He chose to stay quiet, letting his more social sister take the lead.
