“Well, why can’t we be allies on different sides? By all accounts, the Dark Mirror Court shouldn’t be chaos. It shouldn’t be order either. Just… a sort of… in between world, really.” Acubens shrugged again, searching for her star as she always did. She really should memorize its position, she thought to herself as she pulled at her tattered skirt. Sort of a compass back to where she came from. Or at least where part of her came from.
“Save me if you must,” she sighed. “Or try.” The face of Leda flashed into her mind, followed hot on her heels by Lesath. “It seems I have duties to both worlds. Chaos and Order. Lesath needs me to be her sister… and Leda needs me to find our way together.” She looked over at Remarque and smiled softly. “I haven’t even made my decision yet. I can’t fathom the answer to my questions, though they seem to swim right before my eyes.” Acubens reached out a hand before her and tried to grasp at the air. “But it seems like when my fingertips just brush the surface, the answer dances away from me, laughing at my arrogance. You cannot catch me like that, he mocks. I have to devise a more clever trap for the answer. Ensnare it another way.”

The mention of Lesath made Remarque draw his gaze back down to Acubens. He made a mental note to pester his girlfriend just what sort of games she was playing, though didn’t dwell on the subject for long. “You know, Acubens? You seem like the most rational, sane senshi of the White Moon. And even if you won’t join us now…” he shrugged. “An ally is an ally, no matter what skin they wear. Just don’t let them pollute you with any of their lies, all right? I don’t want to hurt any of you. Just want to make everything better. For everyone,” he concluded, leaning back against the wall a bit more.
Just sitting here was making him colder, and though he wanted to continue trying to persuade Acubens to join the Dark Mirror Court, he knew when to back off. He’d rather keep her as an ally now than badger her to the point where she turned against the court. “You look half frozen already,” he said, tone almost teasing. “You’d be best to head home before I lose the only bearable order aligned senshi.”

Acubens looked down at her arms and legs when Remarque talked about being half frozen. It was true, Acubens wass shivering feircly next to the dark mirror senshi. She hadn't noticed, as interested as she was in thier conversation. Now, however, that it had been brought to her attention, Acubens had a hard time not thinking about how cold she was. Wind swept across her body, easily in the single digits if it was above zero at all. She shivered harder, pulling herself into a little ball.
"Yeah," she agreed, pushing herself up to stand, joints cracking in the cold like branches snapping with frozen sap. "A bath sounds good right about now." The thought almost made her groan.
"Thank you for the compliments," she sighed with a small curtsey and a grin. "But I will decide who is lying to me and who is not. Rest assured though. I do not take well to being lied to. The real liar will be punished severley." She winked and beat her hasty retreat. She'd done nothing but chat during her patrol, and it was time she headed home before she was caught.
