A familiar voice was ringing in a distance, getting closer and closer and ah – there was the purple mohawk. “Roch?” the ghoul called out to the punk reaper, waving to get his attention.
Anything to stop Danny from whining.
Edel threw Danny a scathing look and stood there, arms folded, watching the flame demon trudge through the snow like some pathetic five year old. Whining and squeeing with every step. How spoilt, she thought, staring at the other ghoul with such judging eyes.

Danny knew that voice. DANNY KNEW THAT VOICE.
She looked up from the piles of death around her for a moment to find Roch wandering around shouting for Taryn. Why was he looking for Taryn? Well wait ... why would Taryn even be out here?
"ROOOOOOOOCH," she screamed, forgetting about the death water for a moment to run (sort of) over to him. She muttered ewewewew under her breath, but was a bit more excited to see Roch.
Finally she made her way over to him and threw a hug at him. "Rochitssoscaryouthereandthere'ssnowand-" She was panting from the effort of snow-running and excitement. She was a bit of a mess. just a bit. Maybe some of Edel's looks were well deserved.

Roch grunted, looking at Danny blankly. "Jack, Danny, what are you doing out in the snow?" he asked her. "Go inside somewhere, already!"
He glanced over at Edel, still absently hugging the fire demoness, more because she was warm than because he felt the hug urge. "I'd ask what you were doing out here, but I ain't surprised. Have either of you seen Taryn?" he asked.

“Taryn? I've never met her before... ” the ghoul trailed off, trying to recall if she recognised who that was. Of course, the frost demon had encountered the chimera before in the previous Drama Class, but the had yet to be introduced to each other. “How does she look like? Perhaps we could help to search for her?” Edel gave the flame demon a fleeting glance, shaking her head at how Danny was behaving and promptly correcting her statement.
“I could help, I mean. You should take her back inside before she squeals any more about the snow. Honestly, she's ruining the nice cover of snow...” she commented, glancing behind at the dirty puddles of water where Danny's feet had once trodden. Was Edel always this mean? No. But it was Danny. Danny was special.

HE WAS HUGGING HER BACKKK. Roch never hugged her back. He just wasn't a huggy person. If he was doing it because she was a walking heater, Danny didn't notice. She just figured he had finally realized how great hugs were, and was now embracing this new hug-life.

Danny saw both of their "you need to go away" looks, but ignored them. They weren't getting rid of her this soon. "I haven't seen Taryn no. What about her?" Danny had noticed Taryn in the audience, but hadn't thought much of it. Had she been with Roch out here? She didn't even know Roch and Taryn were good friends. Maybe they were working with Edel? THE HORROR~

He let go, but held up his gloved hands to her, absently SHOWING just how he felt about the ghoul atm. "We were exploring the barrier, looking for weak spots," Roch explained, turning his back to the fire demon and letting out a sigh.
"Jack I'm freezing," he complained. "My a** is half froze--BUT! These jackin' snow men showed up talking like morons and splitting us up. Now I gotta find her. She doesn't fight that much and she's still only a year one," he told them.

Would you just look at that? Danny was being useful for once. Edel suppressed a snigger as she watched the way Roch was handling her. Right, right, back to business.
“A Barrier? Surrounding the school?” she enquired, sounding a little more serious and perplexed. Was this the school's new security system in place due to the previous hunter invasion?
Edel really couldn't sympathize with Roch about the weather, then again, she was in her element. It didn't matter at all that she was wearing a short dress that was actually her snowflake dance costume, exposing her arms and legs to the freezing temperatures outside.
“Snowmen you say? One of those Christmas Town creatures I'd suppose? We just met a rather attention seeking ghoul,” Edel turned to look at Danny before adding on, “wearing a sickly shade of pink...” She had to clarify. “Definitely not a local,” she continued.
“Like I said, how does she look like?” she asked yet again, sounding slightly impatient. Roch probably wasn't concentrating with Danny all over him, seriously.

Not concentrating you say Edel? Danny watched them while they talked, but was getting a little woozy from the cold. She was only in a bikini and ripped shorts after all. She was doing remarkably better thanks to her heat aura, but it still wasn't that great.
Danny shot a smug look at Edel. She knew who Taryn was. "Taryn's a chi ... chim ... a chimearera. She has black hair and red fur... skin ... I'm not really sure. I think it's fur. Roch is it fur?" She wanted to test Roch to see how well he knew the ghoul.
She looked down at the ground. Still puddle-y and still gross. She really didn't want to touch it anymore. Edel may have been fine out here, but Danny wasn't going to deal with this. Not even paying attention to their conversation, Danny hopped on Roch's back and said, "Carry meeee."

"Well her legs are--" he grunted as he was jumped on. "Furry," he finished, wanting to toss her off but--jack, that was the warmest he'd been all day. "She's got glasses and a snake tail, and goat hooves," he said, thinking about it. "Wearing a skirt and a coat over her clothes, y'know? She's... cute," he said with a slight shrug. "Kinda nerdy, but cute. We're pretty good friends, and I just ABANDONED her--jackdammit, I gotta find her."

“I see, I've seen her once at Drama Class before,” she said, tapping her chin and then snapping her fingers, “Let's head back to where you came from then, we could start looking from there.”
Alas, someone was being difficult – and a hassle to the punk reaper. Edel gave Danny another of those looks before turning to Roch and saying, “Are you going to be alright like that?”. No offence to Danny's weight man, but Edel has a density of 0.9167 g/cm³. Irrelevant, but Roch would likely tire before long carrying her like that.
Edel, ever so kind and considerate, immediately came up with a solution in the form of an ice wheelbarrow. She gestured lightly at it, knowing all too well how Danny would respond. Still, she wanted to see what Roch would do.

Danny had set her head on Roch's shoulder and was quickly growing bored of all of this Taryn talk. She was still dead set on proving that Edel caused all of this.
Suddenly an ice wheelbarrow appeared in front of Edel, and she was gesturing for Danny to get in. "Oh no. Oh no no no," she moaned. They couldn't put her in that! Not only would she get some sort of halloween-hypothermia, she would also be incredibly embarrassed. Having to be shuffled around by Edel in a wheelbarrow?
She wiggled in protest on top of Roch. "Roch you can't. You just CAN'T."

Roch thought about it for a moment, then headed for the theater. "Danny can stay in the theater," he said. "It's warmer there, right? And if I gotta fight you're gonna get tossed off in a second, y'know?" he added to Danny. "Then you'd FALL completely into the snow, and it'd suck."

Edel just looked at Danny, just slightly disappointed that the wheelbarrow had been rejected.
“Your call, Roch” she said. It wasn't as though she could influence Danny's decisions anyway.

Danny wiggled again in protest at the idea of being left behind. Sure she was ... well she had the mentality of a fourth grader, but she didn't want to be left behind! Not when they were going to go find Taryn- Taryn was Danny's friend too!
Plus ... it meant Edel would be all alone with Roch, and that DEFINITELY couldn't happen under any circumstances.
So Danny kicked like brat she was and said, "I ... I wanna come! I wanna find Taryn too!" A frown was rapidly creasing across her face. She was definitely fighting, exactly what Roch had warned her against.
