Merope's fins clamped down against his back in displeasure, shaking his head in disagreement. "There wasn't anything good about that field trip," he grumbled bitterly. He lashed his tail, scowling at the ground as if he could stare down the memory. It didn't help that the entire trip was a miserable mess, complete with only one single highlight. And that was only if being able to swim in a lake could be counted as a highlight. To most? Not at all.
By the time Merope looked up again, he had completely missed the entrance and exits of Cleite and Hel. He glanced towards Sparrow, blinking his single lidded eye in confusion. "Er," he began awkwardly. "What were we going to do again...?"

 Dem ghouls~ Dem tasty ghouls~ The creeper moved along, constantly on the prowl for dem ghouls. Being short had its advantages, especially when he found ghouls with short skirts. But what he found this time was a boil. He was about to leave it alone when he noticed what the boil had under his arm. Those leaves. Those leaves were gawgeous. "Lets tap that," he said cheerfully to the ballsnake next to him. Creeping Christmas Tree Attack roll: 2 d12 Damage: HP: 10/10

The ballsnake crept alongside the creeper tree. How oddly fitting. It stared at Merope for a moment, and then shook its read, balls rustling. “Nah man, you don’t have the balls for that.” It rose and grinned. “But I do!” Plus it was lonely. Very lonely. The creeper tree was not enough. IT WANTED MORE FRIENDS. It wrapped around the boil in a tight hug. "LET'S BE FRIENDS." Ballsnake Attack roll: 2 d12 Damage: 5 HP: 16/16

With his back turned to the two fiends, Merope was completely oblivious to them. At most his fin-ears flicked when the three spoke, writing off the suggestion as another piece of gossip that occurred in the school hallway. It was just a passing piece of information that Merope disregarded and ignored.
The creeper minipet, however, knew exactly what was going on. It stilled its movements, peeking through its vibrant red foliage to stare with wide-eyes at the insanity tree and ballsnake next to it.
Before it could consider wiggling free of Merope's arms the ballsnake was around the pair of them. Merope shouted and began to flail as the ballsnake wrapped itself around him, his eyes widening in fear. He shouted and began to struggle, trying to throw the ballsnake off of him quickly!

The Creeper had better things than a boil to spend his time on. He focused in on the minipet being pinned by the ballsnake and preened just a bit, rustling his branches seductively. "Hey baby, you look so good I wish I could plant you and grow a whole field of y'all!" Creeping Christmas Tree Damage: HP: 10/10

Ballsnake was not amused. Why was the boil struggling?! It only wanted to be friends. Friendship is magic, boil. Friendship is magic! It tightened its hold on poor Merope, but nothing too bone-crushing. Then it looked over at the creeper tree and shook its head, balls shaking with disappointment. “Dude. That has got to be the lamest pick-up line ever. Ever.” But it was okay. As long as the creeper tree wasn’t going to try and steal this boil to be its other friend, the ballsnake could deal. "Bad touch! BAD TOUCH!" Merope yelled, twisting and shaking from left to right in a sort of one-man demented dance as he continued to try and throw the ballsnake off in vain. He jerked his arms up, alternating between one and the other in an attempt to free at least one from the overly friendly embrace. At the cost of dropping his minipet he managed to free one, immediately seizing the opportunity to ball his hand into a fist and begin to pound desperately at the ballsnake's side.
As soon as Merope's grip on the minipet slipped, the bush minipet wiggled free and dropped to the floor. It shook itself and looked up at the tree, its feline limbs poking free from the foliage to stare. Then, wisely, it took a step backwards away from the creeping Christmas tree.

The tree glided forward and lowered his voice. "Do you have any raisins? Well, then how about a date?" He asked and wriggled his needle-y eyebrows. Forget balls, he had GAME. Creeping Christmas Tree Damage: HP: 10/10

“Nah man what are you talking about? This is a good touch. A very good touch.” The ballsnake jingled happily as he hugged Merope even tighter. Maybe he should have been a creeper tree instead. Huh. As dark as his skin was, it was impossible to hide the flush of embarrassment that gave a white edge to his normally cyan glow. "N-no it isn't!" He sputtered, flinching as the ballsnake tightened its grip. "No means no! Which means GET OFF!"
The minipet continued to stare at the creeping Christmas tree, the gears clinking and churning in its head. Finally, it came to a decision. The bush minipet stood up and took a step backwards, spinning around and immediately racing up Merope's pantleg and over the ballsnake, its claws scratching the ornament-creature on its way up. Past the ballsnake, the minipet then settled down to cling to the top of Merope's head. Height meant safety, right?
"GET OFF!"

"I would pick you every time," the tree howled in anguish as the shrub ran up the boil. Well, there was only one thing for him to do, follow dem leaves up that boil. Unfortunately for the boil trees were not meant to climb, but that was not going to deter the creeper from making a valiant effort. Creeping Christmas Tree Damage: 5 HP: 10/10

"NEVER," cried the ballsnake. It wanted cuddles. Always cuddles never not cuddles. It only clung tighter to the boil, and occasionally smacked the creeper tree with the back of its tail. Don't touch his friend, okay!? Ballsnake Attack roll: 2 d12 Damage: 7 HP: 10/16

When the creeper minipet used him as a ladder, Merope flinched. His skin was pock-marked with the creature's clawmarks, wounds that Merope had not yet had an opportunity to heal.
The creeping Christmas tree, on the other hand, was something Merope was definitely not used to. He didn't even have time to sputter a "What the --" before he felt the tree run into him and began to try and climb him, following the minipet's tracks.
Then there was also the Ballsnake to contest with. If he still needed to breathe, Merope would probably begin to choke around this time. Possibly even make a sporfle or strangled sob. As it was though, the undead boil began to panic even more, words incoherent as he clawed at the ballsnake.

Okay, so climbing didn't work. The tree settled himself firmly on the ground and gazed up at the minipet. He still had a few tricks left. "You may fall from the sky, you may fall from a tree, but the best way to fall... is in love with me~" He serenaded, his voice blossoming due to the love it carried. The hit wasn't that strong, but after multiple attempts of trying to get the boil to become his friend the ballsnake was becoming a bit...sad and even more lonely. "WHY WON'T YOU BE MY FRIEND?" it sobbed as it unwound, sliding away from the boil in a moment of despair and angst. Ballsnake Attack roll: 2 d12 Damage: HP: 8/16
