And, for the third time in a day, Poke had re-spawned in the mauls clinic. With a audible groan she opened her eyes and tried to sit up, only to bite her mouth to keep from crying out in pain. She had hoped to have felt better, but instead she was just as bad off as she had been before. It hurt to breathe, much less move.
With as much strength as she could muster, she roller herself out of the cot and ended up flopping onto the floor. She had to get up. Had to get back and assist that deer guy with the tree. But at this rate, she wasn't sure how the heck she was going to get there.
For the meantime, she looked around the clinic for something she could use. Perhaps a wheelchair might make things easier...

Nope. There wasn't anything left that she could use. Most of the clinic had been destroyed, all except a few of the precious pumpkins.
With a sigh, Poke forced herself to her feet, and staggered outside

Boozle woke with a jerk, feeling worse than he had in years. For a long moment he laid on the table, staring blankly up at the ceiling, then he closed his eyes, thinking that a nap would be nice.

....Did she even want to get up this time?
...no, no she didn't. She felt like staying there instead. But her rage at being killed off so many times by a tree was telling her she needed to go and smash the stupid plant to bits. Even if she didn't think she could get up.

Jack. That had hurt. She slowly opened her eyes and blinked, adjusting her sight to the light and sounds surrounding her. Dev stared at the ceiling, wondering why and how she was here. Why...? Oh, that was right. Death. What an unusual experience.
After a few moments of contemplative silence she rose up. A couple glances around revealed a couple other occupants, one of whom she recognized. "Boozle." Dev sounded tired and quiet. "What're ye gonnae dae?"

Man that tree sure had something gnawing at its bark... Kadir found himself suddenly in the... Maul clinic? He'd never actually went into it before, but he'd seen it around. Groaning softly, he lifted himself up from lying on his side, and rubbed at it his sore head. Well... that'd been fun... but.. Oh yeah! That girl!
Slow and steady, he eased up onto his feet, wobbling some but managed, and started slowly dragging himself out of the safe enclosure.

Boozle laid there for a long moment. "We go back, we die again. I feel like crap," he said slowly. "But... we should probably try and save her." Which really, really sucked, cuz he already knew how it would turn out. "Or at least get the boogies to go in and save her. Or we could skip out and pretend it never happened." He was really leaning towards that last one.

A pained grin spread across her lips. Dev closed her lips and a moment later reopened them. “Yeah. Ah feel th’ sam’ way.” She folded her hands together, thumbs twiddling as she systemically went through the choices Boozle offered. The last option felt so tempting, so incredibly tempting. She didn’t feel too good and chances were the beast would only swipe her back into this maul clinic again, but as far as she recalled Imryn was by herself. Dev didn’t want to leave the ghoul all alone. “We’ll gang back,” she started, “an’ we’ll escape together. We’ll lae th’ maul somehaw."

The FEAR swirled, then took shape, leaving a really disgusted looking croc boil lying on the floor for a moment. He groaned, seriously contemplating leaving, then shoved himself to his feet again, heading out the door.
This... sucked... SO BADLY.
HP: 4/30 again.

She wasn't sure what she wanted to do first: scream or wallow in self-pity and frustration. Dev's jaw clenched tightly when she reformed in the clinic. A growl resonated deep within her throat and she bared her fangs. Curse that yeti. Curse that Jackdamn yeti! She stamped her foot before following the disappearing figure that was undoubtedly Boozle.

Imryn re-appeared, groaning loudly while slowly opening her eyes when things began to feel solid again. What the hell... where was she? Blinking a few time she carefully pushed herself up on her hands and took a better look around. There seemed to be a few other people here and there, but other than that it seemed to be empty and trampled on. "What have I gotten myself into...." she sighed. Dev and Boozle didn't seem to be here though she remembered seeming them vanish shortly before she did.
"Heh... maybe they headed back in. There were others there... and those two came back for me. No one ever-" Cutting that off before it got out into the universe, Imryn took a deep breath, gave her wings a bit of a stretch to make sure they would still work as transport before heading back into the fray.
