Micah grinned at Tony when she returned, showing him her finger as he inspected it. "I peel my finger nail back more often than not. And it was more my fault for being so sensitive but..." She bit her bottom lip again and squinted at Tony. "Gosh, you're just... goodness, nothing like Nathan. He's just... so much fun and you;re so cautious. At least, that's what I got from your reaction to my temper." Mica retrieved her bag from the desk and slung the limp burlap over her shoulder. She hadn't missed the dark look in Tony's eyes when she described Nathan.
"What I said... abouth Nathan... they were observations. Nothing more. He's actually... everything I want in my brother, but everything he's not. I can sort of replace my overly cautious Alexij with him. I like to hang out with Nathan, I really do." With her bandaged hand, Micah took Nathan's and grinned. "Whoever raised him did an excellent job. Fiercly independant, confident, strong... there are men who only pretend to be what that boy is." She lightly punched Tony's shoulder. "You should be proud of him. He's a good guy. A trouble maker, but... when I was struggling up the side of a building, he never let go of me. I could tell it was a strain but... he never faltered. When push comes to shove he's great. Just a little... rough."
As she turned to leave she waved at Tony. "Maybe we can switch boys sometime. You and Alexij can do cross word while Nathan and I cause trouble." Another wicked grin, though decidedly lighter than any of her others.

Tony blinked.
"Does that mean I'm not fun? Also, you find him fun? That's... surprising. I don't think I've met someone who likes him before. Ah..."
It was interesting to hear someone actually speaking positively of his son, and it reminded him why he stuck with Nate for so long, why he was still certain he could do something with the boy. Make him happy, some how. tony felt guilty, now, for always being so negative.
"I am proud of him," he said after a moment of rubbing his arm after her punch.
Hearing that they had been on the side of a building together, and she in danger of falling, Tony gave her a look. His expression asked what the hell they had been doing without him having to say it. She was walking away though, and he relented, shaking his head. Kids would be kids. He chuckled and smiled.
"You'll have to take that up with him, I think. Have a good day."
