Jude froze as he was about to lift up the scissors and cut away at his hair and then stood up suddenly moving to a part of his room. Rustle of a plastic bag was heard and then he wandered back over after getting a hairbrush as well.
"...Yeah thanks for reminding me," he said with a small sigh as he moved to situate himself near Harrison, brushed his hair out a bit before he took up the scissors and began to cut at parts of his hair.
This probably wasn't helping him earn any man points.

If there was a manly point chart, Harrison didn't seem to be keeping score. He held the mirror as still as he could manage, focused on the task at hand. It was just a trim and bangs, right? And if anything went too wrong, Jude could go find a professional to sort it out.
"You wearing your costume? To the thing?"

"I don't plan on it unless someone forces me to," he said bluntly as he snipped away at this bit of hair and at that. He really thought costumes and Christmas was a silly thing that only silly people took part in.
...Bah humbug.

"I was just gonna wear the head," Harrison said, "maybe buy some other holiday stuff while I'm out."
The costume wouldn't do much for Jude's new haircut anyhow.
He peered nosily over the mirror.
"That's looking pretty good so far."

"Just the head, huh? Well people have worn stranger things to parties," he said simply with a small smirk as he continued to cut at his hair. Just a little bit more....
He paused when Harrison spoke up, "Hm? Oh really? First time doing this...Guess I'm just getting really lucky..." He shrugged as he cut a couple more pieces out to create the bangs and then went about 'shaping' the cut a bit more until he was satisfied.
Jude hummed thoughtfully to himself, "Feel confident enough to help with some of the hair in the back? Just a bit of a trim."

"Um...kind of? Just whatever you do try not to cut straight across or somethin'. Looks weird that way." Jude explained as he offered Harrison up the scissors, "I trust ya. Charming thing about hair is that it grows back."
Probably famous last words considering the topic of the day is someone else's hair.

Jude seemed like a pretty chill guy, and he probably wouldn't freak out if Harrison...cut too much. Not that he wanted to. The guy's very righteous mane just need a trim, not a de-righteousing. He accepted the scissors dutifully, then sat down on the bed beside Jude.
His hair, in addition to being kind of rugged, was also soft. Harrison tried not to right-out pet it. He was just...smoothing it out. So he could cut it better.
"Alright," he said, starting from the bottom-middle and sliding the scissors over a stray chunk of hair. The scissors closed with a snip. "Not straight across," another snip, "About even with the stuff in front?"

Even if Harrison was petting his hair it didn't seem like Jude would notice it too much or at least object too hard. He just sat there and resisted the urge to nod after the hair got smoothed out, "Yeah, that sounds about right, hopefully it won't take you too long."
Small pause, "Thanks for this. Seems like I'll owe ya again," he chuckled slightly.

"The cycle of debt is a vicious thing," Harrison agreed. "I just hope what you owe me isn't a sock in the jaw after you see what I'm doing back here."
Snip.
"...Just messing with you. Wish I could grow my hair out. From where I'm at it'd take forever, though." Piece here, piece there, this wasn't so hard. Sort of like using B0nez in miniature.

"Well, if you screw it up then you'd owe me instead," he said simply content to not smack Harrison in the face with a fist.
"Hmm not sure I could imagine you with longer hair right now, it'd be one of those things...I'm way too used to seeing you with your current hair I guess. Maybe facial hair but that'd be it," Jude replied quietly.
