Sammy chirped happily on his shoulder, she whistled a soft song and acted like a normal bird so she didn't draw any attention to Damien. After she was done with the song she looked at Damien and chirped In morose code. /I wish we can run away and never go back, I hate that place Dan/

Damien sighed but nodded slightly, though he kept his soft smile as he walked as if he was thinking about something. "I know, Sammy... One day, I'll find us a new home and we can live happily together, just the two of us... away from the orphanage... away from the government..." he whispered quietly where Sammy could hear, but to anyone else, his lips barely moved.

Sammy chirped happily and rubbed her head against his cheek. /Thank you big brother! I can't wait until you find a place, just the two of us~/ She sat down on his shoulder and looked up at the sky.

Damien couldn't help chuckling lightly and petted Sammy's head gently. "Of course. I'm going to keep this promise, no matter how long it may take or how hard it is. I'll find the perfect home."

Sammy closed her eyes, she loved being petted. She sang a happily song while Damien walked but stopped when someone asked him about Sammy.
"Oh my goodness that's a beautiful bird! Where did you get It?" A woman asked.

Damien stood still when the woman stopped him. He tensed slightly at the stranger and it would seem normal for the fact that he was an orphan, but he was mostly just being very cautious of the woman. "In the forest nearby. I rescued it and took care of its broken wing. Even though it's better now, it doesn't want to leave my side for long, so I decided to keep it as a pet. The people at the orphanage don't mind," Damien replied simply, cupping his hand lightly over Sammy to protect her as well as stroke her feathers lightly so he didn't raise suspicion.
Two siblings came into the playground at the orphanage. They looked almost like twins, the only differences being that one was male and the other female and that their eyes were different colors (the female has pale crimson eyes and the male had blue eyes). It was the Henderson kids, a pair of siblings who live down the street and always hang out at the orphanage to play with the other kids. Kara, the female, trotted around talking to the other young girls of the orphanage while Kane, the male, met up with the boys.

Standing up to glance out the window, she saw the Henderson's walk up towards the playground. Her two-toned eyes followed the two before she turned around and stared at the door. She glanced back out before walking down towards the playground. Once outside, she kept her distance as she watched everyone talk among themselves.

"It's so pretty."
Sammy acted like a normal bird, chirping and looking around. She tightened one of her tiny feet, that was a sign to Damien that she wanted to go to the forest for a while.
The woman walked off after thanking him for letting her see Sammy

Damien nodded and watched the woman walk off. Once she was out of sight, he picked Sammy off his shoulder and held her close to his chest, cupping both hands around her to keep her from being buffeted by the wind as he started running. He went incredibly fast due to his abilities and didn't stop running until he reached the safety of the trees.
After the kids started playing games, Kane managed to escape the boys when he spotted Alice off to the side. He walked over to her side with a warm grin on his face. "Hey there. You wanna play a game with the others? What'cha doing all by yourself over here?"

"Um, me?" She asked pointing to herself and looking around before looking back at Kane. Realizing she was the only one by herself she smiled. "Um, that would be nice. But, I usually don't interact with the others here."

Sammy hopped out of his hands and shifted to her human form, she shook a bit. "Whoo! That was fun." She said with a smile. "Can you turn Into a wolf?"

Sho had wondered outside while he was lost in thought,which he realized after he glanced up from the ground and blinked a few times but didn't bother to go back inside the orphanage he instead sat down on a bench and enjoyed the nice weather for a while and watched the other kids play,he usually stayed inside(which would explain why he is so pale)so it was a little strange for him to be outside.

"Well that's alright. People can be like that. Something you want to do then?" Kane asked, tilting his head with his hands in his pockets, his grin never leaving his lips. Even though he was extremely protective of his sister, he always felt that when at the orphanage, he didn't have to look after her as much. Kara could take care of herself.
Meanwhile, Kara spotted Sho sitting on the bench, only watching the other kids. Immediately she trotted over to his side with her hands folded behind her back, smiling happily. "Hey there~ You wanna play a game? You don't have to sit here all alone you know~"
Damien smiled and nodded. "Well of course I can, silly. I can change into a lot of stuff~" He quickly changed into his wolf form. He never understood why his wolf form was different, being larger in size and having fur pure white like snow.

Looking up at her quickly and blinking a few more times,Sho was a little shocked that someone was talking to him seeing as everyone at the orphanage is scared of him."uhh...no thank you i'm fine with sitting here and watching..."

Sammy chuckled a bit and climbed onto his back, she snuggled Into his pure white fur. "So soft and warm~" She purred as she closed her eyes.
