Chris nodded and smiled at Logan, not particularly affected by the way he had been touching the other though he was sure the other man hadn't appreciated it any. "Alright then. Let's see about getting you something to eat. I don't suppose that you know what you do and don't like to eat do you?" he asked, motioning for the neko to follow him to the kitchen. He started pulling things out of the fridge, setting them on the counter while he looked for the right pots and pans. "I think if you don't have any objections I'm going to make a kind of rice stir fry," he said, finding what he was looking for and putting it on the stove before he looked back to the neko. "So what do you think?"

Chris chuckled and shrugged, starting the stove and cutting things to put in the skillet. He started some rice in a pan before looking back to Logan. "Well, I'll do what I can to get you up to date. Maybe you'll remember more when you spend more time here. You were kind of stuck in the form of a cat doll for over 500 years," he said, stirring a handful of vegetables in hot oil. He flipped it and tossed it around before going back to cutting up more things to toss into the mix. Once he had most of the vegetables cooking he put in some chicken and soy sauce, putting things away so that the counters were clear again before stirring again. "I suppose tomorrow we should get you some of your own clothes. I think I have plenty that may fit you but I think you should probably have your own," he said, looking over at the neko. He smiled and chuckled to see the other man shaking his head as if thinking of something. "Something bothering you?"

Chris looked over at Logan and chuckled, blushing slightly. "Well, I'm glad that you like the way I smell then," he said, feeling both embarrassed and slightly turned on by the other man's words. Lightly he shook his head and worked more on their dinner, shutting the heat under the rice off and putting a lid on the vegetable and chicken mix so that it could steam. "Well, I'm not exactly the kind of guy who's interested in women if you know what I mean," he said, not sure how to explain it to a guy who probably had never heard of gays. So far as he knew the public gay movement was relatively new though he didn't realize that just because there were no major riot and such about gay rights didn't mean there had not been gays 500 years ago. "What about you? Do you think you had a wife before? Maybe if you remember something about your old life we could look in history books to see if we can find out what happened to your family."

Chris nodded, chuckling softly. "That sounds about right. All big boobs and no fun," he said, grinning at Logan and leaning against the counter. "Well, don't worry about it. I'm sure if it's going to come to you it will with time. There's no hurry," he said, shaking his head as the neko played with his own tail. "I'd hate to treat you like a real cat but I'm so tempted to ask if you want to play with a cat toy. I bet you'd find that fun, though I don't know why I think that."

Chris shook his head and reached over to pet Logan's head, stroking his ears lightly. "No worries. Sometimes I'm surprised some of this stuff isn't magic. Particularly when they come out with something new," he said, trying to cheer up the neko. He chuckled at the way that the man's ears perked up at the idea of playing with him. "Well, I was just thinking you looked like you would like it. Maybe while we're out you can see some of the toys they have available and pick out what you like. If you don't feel like it that's fine too," he said, shaking his head slightly. "Well, dinner is about ready. I'll go ahead and serve it. Do you think you'd be okay with a fork or would you rather use chop sticks?" he asked, wondering if the man even knew what either was.

Chris liked the way that Logan purred, finding the man kind of cute and fun. The man's pout made Chris shake his head and chuckle. Now he really wanted to get something that the man could play with. It was such a shame he didn't already have some cat toys. "Well, considering that you don't know what either are I think it would be best to stick with forks then," he said, putting one next to Logan on the table. "I'll get this served and then show you how it works basically though I don't think it will be too hard a concept to sort out." He got out some plates, serving up some rice topped with the stir fry mixture. Once he finished he headed to the table, putting one plate in front of the neko before sitting across from the other man. "Basically you use the fork to pick up things by spearing it though you can scoop something up if you're careful about it and if it's big enough."

Chris chuckled softly, shrugging at Logan. "I don't have claws but I suppose for some kinds of food it's alright to eat with your fingers. Usually it's hard to eat rice with your fingers though," he said, eating his own food with his fork. He was not sure if it was really alright for the neko to eat with his claws but it was how the other man was used to eating so he wouldn't really try to break the man's habit when that was pretty much all he had left of who he was from before. Though he didn't think it was particularly healthy or sanitary.
