She was kind-of amused by the question of her age. "I'm older than I look." She shrugged. Should she tell him that story? ... Eh, might as well. "I met a lioness who... I guess was a goddess or something. When I was younger. Anyways, apparently I pissed her off and she cursed me. I think. All I know is, my siblings are all much bigger than me, and I haven't grown at all since then." And she was sure she was supposed to have grown. It's not like she was the run of the litter! Now it was up to Sar to figure out if he believed her.
"I'm from here." Yeah, she was born here. "I don't usually hang out too close nearby." She didn't need to tell him it was because she liked to avoid work. As for his next question... Well, she supposed she should be ashamed of how she ended up running into hyenas. But now she could brag a little! "As for hyenas... Wellll..."
There were no scars on her muzzle, even though it had been scratched that day. The most visible scars were on her front paws and one of her ankles, but, thanks to dirt, one would need to point them out to see them. She remained on the floor and stretched out her front paws, spreading out her claws in the dirt so the skin would stretch, making the lines more visible. "He screwed me up pretty bad on my paws. I couldn't walk right for weeks." She turned one paw over so he could see a bit of deformation on her paw pads.
"There's scars on my shoulders, too." The hyena had been smart, though. He'd bit her hardest on her paws, so she couldn't attack him with them. "I was lucky my friend showed up, or I'd be dead."

"Wow! What did you do to get a goddess curse you? Either you're the most irritating lioness around, or you ran across an impatient goddess ..." Sar rolled to his paws and padded over to stand over Wingu. He examined the old scars left by the hyena and frowned. Hyena's were really bad. Mural had said so!
The jumbling of questions flew around in Sar's mind. He lost the consciousness will to hold them back. He needed to know. Wanted to know. Knowledge meant so much, but it was also the need to preserve it in some way that drove Sar. "Do you miss growing up? Were you scared when the hyena attacked you? What was the exact words the goddess used to curse you? Did the lions save you and your friend from being killed and eaten by the hyena? Do you think you'll ever grow again? Did the lions kill the hyena or did it run off? Is there a way to reverse the curse and you just don't want to? Do you ever want cubs? Will you hunt hyenas like a scout or a soldier if you ever do grow up?"

What did she do to get cursed? uuuh... "I guess it was a mix of both." Not that Wingu considered herself the most annoying lioness around. But she was well aware should be a brat when she felt like it! And, it seems she had felt like it that day.
She should have figured there would be more questions. At this point, Wingu began to feel like she was being quizzes, and somehow she had to get the answers right. After Sar finished asking, she took a brief pause to organize all his questions in her head. "Okay. Uh, don't know. It's not like something you notice at this point. She didn't use any words to curse me, I think." No, she was quite sure that goddess hadn't said anything along the lines of cursing-stuff. "You got that mixed up, I was alone against the hyena, and then my two friends, Chokuto and Makali came and saved me. I don't know if I'll ever grow again. It ran off when they showed up, they're much bigger than me and it was alone. I don't know if there's a way to reverse the curse. Probably, I mean, if one god can do it, I guess another can reverse it, right?" The question if she'd want to was different.
Wingu had been quite upset at first, actually. That was the whole reason she had been reckless enough to go to the graveyard in the first place. But now she was quite fine with being forever an adolescent, until she died. His next question caught Wingu off guard. Cubs...? "I like cubs. Don't know if I want them." She had never even thought about it. Right now, Wingu couldn't envision herself as a mother, but would she want to someday? Her grandmother was so happy having a family... Even her own mother, who Wingu took after.
"Nah, I don't think so. I mean, if I see them in our territory I'll do my best to chase them out." Despite being kind of a lazy slacker, Wingu cared very much about her homeland and intended to keep it safe. "But I guess hunting them down... I just can't see that."

Sar nosed the scars on Wingu's back and thought about some of the plants he'd been examining the other day. Maybe they'd help reduce the small scars even more. He'd have to experiment on them. Maybe Wingu would be a willing science project. Sar smiled at the thought of a new project and learning experience. "Are you worried that curse will keep you from doing things that only adults get to do, Wingu? Do you want to reduce the scars even more? Or do you keep them as a reminder? I think I know of some plants that can reduce them even more. I think maybe you should go on a quest to find out why the goddess cursed you and how to reverse it otherwise you'll never be able to do adult stuff, like my Dad and Mom!"
Speaking of Mom, Sar turned his head when he heard her voice. She must have noticed that he was gone for longer than she liked. Beetle experiment or not, Sar needed to go. "Bye, Wingu, that's my Mom calling for me. Maybe I'll see you around some more!" Sar nudged his head against her head and ran off toward the den and his mother.

Wingu frowned slightly, as she thought about his new questions. And what did he mean he could reduce her scars even more? She figured they were long over a period where anything could be done about them. And most importantly... What did he mean things only adults could do? Hmph! she was quite sure that, even as a smallish, immature female, she could do any job adults could do. Why not?
But just as she was going to answer his questions, she heard a voice calling. And quickly enough, the cub was taking his leave. "Alright, bye, Sar." The white lioness sat up and watched the brown cub go, perhaps just to make sure he got home safe, but mostly just so she could ponder on what a strange kid he was.
But again, Sar was pretty alright! Wingu supposed that it would be okay to meet him again sometime, at least it wouldn't be boring.
