"Well, if you want to learn the hard way," Reine said, staring Otto in the eye. "Did you know, your room is juuuuuuust between Eva's and mine?" She grinned at him, then tapped the wall.
"And that the walls are thiiiiiiiiis thin?" Sure enough, the sound was hollow.
Reine left the cloth on the table and walked over to Otto, kicking his stuff out of the way. She was noisy? Oh, yeah, she could be noisy. Rummaging around, she picked the snare drum up, and tapped it lightly. Huh. Otto had gotten it in pretty good condition, after all; she probably couldn't punch through it...
But she could summon Alynthe, and she did so, pointing the tip of the blade to the skin.
"What's it gonna be, huh?"

Otto's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates, and he sat right up, and bolted to his feet. "DON'T YOU <********> DARE!!!" He cried out sharply, practically shuddering. "I SPENT MONEY ON THAT! I CAN'T GET ANOTHER ONE! NOT TILL LIKE... like... Don't do it, Crazy b***h!"
What had she wanted again? He forgot. He was too busy rage facing.

"Dare what?"
Reine was struggling to control her laughter- just seeing the look on Otto's face was enough to send her into another fit of giggles.
So he did have things he cared about, after all.
"I'll return it if you clean up your room yourself," she said, her eyes narrowing slightly. Almost as if it was inversely proportional, the grin on her face widened.

What.
What.
"F-fine! Just don't do nuthin stupid!" Otto hissed, stomping his foot. He huffed, and started collecting clothing from the floor that he'd been laying on, tossing it into the laundry basket.
He grumbled and muttered, casting a sharp glare at Reine every so often. It was obvious by the way he was cleaning that he'd never had to clean his own room before. Or at least.... never had done it properly.
After a long while of grumping, the floor was somewhat clear of clutter. "There." He thought he was done. "Gimme." He held out a hand.

Reine watched, somewhat amused, as Otto picked himself off the floor and actually cleaned his room. It was like.. like watching the Big Bang. Miraculous. She even caught herself staring at him with her mouth open, and closed it promptly.
Eva.. Eva should see this. Surreptitiously Reine pulled out her phone and snapped a photo. Without proof, she was pretty sure Eva would just laugh it off and dismiss it as a joke.
"That's a liiiiittle better," Reine admitted, looking around. No stray socks, nothing lying around. But he hadn't actually cleaned. Pursing her lips, Reine pointed at the desk. "There's still that," she said helpfully.

It's a good thing Otto didn't notice the photo. There were a lot of places to hide a body on the island.
Otto stared at Reine incredulously, his eyes shifting to the desk, then back to her. "What's wrong with it?" He was being serious.

"What isn't?" She replied dryly. A layer of grime covered the desk, and Reine twitched slightly, just looking at it. Her own desk was practically sacred, and yet Otto's.. well, it looked like he wasn't really the type to use it anyway.
"C'mon," Reine encouraged. "You're so close. So clooooose."

Helpful.
Otto groaned, dragging his feet toward the desk and grabbing the cloth. To Otto, the desk looked fine. It looked like it always did. What it could be compared to what it was at now did not compute.
The blond hurriedly swished the cloth about messily, leaving streaks across the surface. Grime had not been cleaned. It had been shoved around by the cloth. "Am I done yet?"

"No," Reine said firmly, and glared at Otto.

"Oh come on!" Otto whined, stomping his foot on the ground. "Yer just bein' nit picky!" His mouth formed a hard line across his face, and turned back to his task. He furiously scrubbed at one spot on the desk, revealing the true white that it was supposed to be. He leaned back, comparing the spot to everything else on the desk.
....Oh. On went the light bulb.
The teen sighed heavily, leaning over the desk and scrubbing the rest of the surface to match the one spot he'd cleaned.

Reine smirked, watching Otto work. In the end, he'd done most of the work himself. She patted herself on the back mentally, then leaned back against the wall, tapping a rhythm on the drum.

There. Desk done!
Otto slammed the dirty cloth down, and turned to Reine as she rapped at his drum. His brows twitched, lips pursed, and he glared with all his might. "Done. Gimme."

She had to concede, it was a job well done- at least for Otto's standards. He looked so annoyed, Reine had to stifle a laugh and attempt to maintain her poker face as she handed the drum back to him.
"Need help putting it together?"

"No." He grunted stubbornly, taking the drum back and flopping onto the floor. His posture and expression was pathetic, really. As if he had been completely wronged somehow. Childish, really.
He leaned over the unassembled kit, holding out a hand without actually looking at Reine. "Pass me the tool box." Apparently he lied.

No.
Reine almost felt a little bit sad at the rejection, biting her lip. Maybe she should go- technically, her job was done, after all---- and then Otto called out again.
"Okay!" She answered almost a little too quickly, picking up the toolbox and settling next to Otto. "Here!" She'd never put a drum set together before, though she more-or-less knew the components. It'd be interesting to watch..
