He was getting nowhere, but that was alright. At least no lasers were whipped out of lacy garments and leveled against him with a might only a wibbly magical girl could muster. He'd seen one or two anime. He knew how wibbly magical girls worked and Pasiphae must've been their queen.
"It's a shame we can't see eye-to-eye, but I understand your point and your conviction. No one can blame you for that, Pasiphae." He was being truthful - he didn't doubt the tenacity of the other side. If they were weak and simple-minded, souls easy to twist and crush, the side of Chaos would have won by now. He still thought it was the natural order of things, that all things in nature were chaotic. It didn't sway him at all. Carnelian had seen and heard of too many atrocities committed while under the banner of love and justice. It just wasn't right. Besides, Euclase was his anchor to this war now. Wherever she went, he followed.
The corrupted senshi gave her a graceful bow, coat furling in the wind. "It's getting late. We should both head home to our families now, Pasiphae, and maybe enjoy ourselves for once. Au revoir~" His sing-song tone continued as he sailed through the air in the direction of Euclase and safety. Pasiphae wouldn't have to worry about him tonight.

"Good-bye, Carnelian," the Super Senshi said softly, waiting until after his bowing exit to speak. In truth, she did not want him to stay any longer. The chat did nothing to ease her anxieties or her fears, nothing but test her convictions. She felt like she had passed, but it was a feeling that left her tired and raw, not proud or strong. He thought she would say yes. He thought she would turn sides. She would not, could not, forget that fact, as much as it sickened her. He had been wrong... but he had still asked.
Yet, she did not fully fall into despair. Carnelian had been right about so many things... and one was the easier for her to accept than others. They should enjoy themselves. They should go home to their families. She'd take in the sights, make some cocoa and maybe watch some claymation Christmas specials with Minotaur snuggled in her lap. She had set out to look at Christmas lights, and by God she was going to look at Christmas lights. The encounter with the Corrupted Senshi had been hard on her, hard to listen, hard to absorb. The lights, though... the lights were happy and hopeful. She had to keep her eyes on the light.
