Kestrel smiled and nodded letting him fly off, getting out a chick, this time to drag along the ground so that he could catch it as if he were hunting naturally.
"Schools? Oh no... I just help out at the sanctuary centre place. I don't think I would be allowed in schools." What with her record there were probably like laws that stopped her from being near little kids. Birds however, she spent a lot of time with them.
She moved the chick along the floor and like expected the barn owl flew over it a couple of times and then flew down to the chick grabbing it before realising he couldn't get it away. Kestrel had long learnt to make sure chick was well attached to the rope so that he didn't go away to eat it and not come back!

Castille supposed that the birds wouldn't like being indoors surrounded by hundreds of children. Especially when these children typically had boundary issues and wouldn't immediately recognize the danger in those claws and beaks.
She inhaled deeply, saying almost wistfully "I think I would like to work at a place like that someday. I do like animals and think of the great pictures I could take!" Though if they were in cages or chicken wire, she would have to bring a different lens....
"I think I have quite a few pictures to go through." She said, glancing down at her camera. "If you'd like, we can do another bird. But if they are getting tired or edgy, we can certainly call it a day."

"It might be best to call it a day but please let me know if you want to do it again!" Kestrel smiled as she took Basil back to the van. It was probably best to stop before the birds got agitated that and it was close to feeding time and the birds knew it.
"Also if you want to just pop round to the centre once you have the photos we could always try and sell some in the shop for you." She thought she might as well offer right? Seemed like the nice thing to do.
