Roch's laugh drew her attention back not sure if he was laughing at her or something else in general. She looked questioningly at him but he soon changed the subject to one she had been trying to forget. Ah...the fire. Yes, she remembered the fire and the hunters. That day had been rather terrible and for her it had been her first time dying as well. A slow and painful death that made her body shiver as her arms wrapped around herself. She could remember the fires drawing closer, only able to watch and unable to move or even protect anyone. Her skin tingled even now in memory as the fire had consumed her before her body finally gave out. The days after had been a blur she had been out but...she had seen Xiu.

"Xiu seemed...worn but okay." Mitsu said. No doubt the ghoul had been plagued with thoughts of what had been happening. "S..she came over to help me with my nightmares after the fire." Mitsu admitted softly. Suddenly Mitsu was on edge, looking around as if the Hunters would be there...but...they hadn't been Hunters. No, they had been Halloween denzin. People just like them but they weren't. There was something off about them and they smelled strange but would that be enough to tell them apart in a crowd?

Mitsu wasn't sure why asking about a friend would make Roch a creeper but she wanted to reassure him that Xiu seemed okay. Or at least better than some. The ghoul had been recovering like the rest of them after all. "But...that had been...your fourth time?" Mitsu asked with a frown. She knew of a least once during their field trip that she had witness Roch there one moment and then dissipating the next. Once again she shuttered.

That sounded like a heck of a lot of bad luck on Roch's part and from the sounds of it he had met his end multiple times on the field trip. By the grace of Jack Mitsu had avoided death somehow even when she carelessly attacked Cael. Shun was the one that truly paid for that.

Mitsu was silent when she listened to Roch explain about the day of the fire. She had tried to help Xiu too but had been unable to free her. Instead she had moved on trying to keep up with Shun while he chased after the Death Hunter. "W..we had followed the main Hunter into the woods. It...took a while for the fire to get to us...but it still got us." She shivered again hugging herself tighter.

Up ahead she could see some buildings she recognized. They weren't far from the bookstore if she remembered correctly. "What do you think will happen now that the Horsemen are gone?" They were supposed to help them prepare to face the hunters and now they were gone.

She supposed that was as good of a plan as any. Not much else could be done at the moment. "I hate to think that they were able to invade our home. I didn't think humans were able to come here." Though they hadn't been human, they had been in false bodies. All except for Cael. What made him so different anyway? Was he really human?

When Roch trailed off listing names of those who had been trapped in cages, Mitsu's frown deepened. They had been really close to losing a lot of friends. It was a miracle that they had all made it out. All except Red.

"I hope nothing like that happens again. We need to make sure it never happens again," She corrected.

Tilting her head back Mitsu looked at the sign just above the bookstore verifying their location. As promise Roch had brought her here and in record time. "Thank you," She smiled at the reaper. "I will have to see your wall when its finished." If she could find it again that was.

Before Roch turned Mitsu raised a hand to wave him goodbye. "I'll see you at school." As he turned to leave to head back to where he came Mitsu stood a moment longer thinking over the things Roch had told her. "Live hard, huh?" She said softly to no one before she nodded a little to herself, turning to enter the bookstore in search of a book to read together with Shun.
