Tai Penwright & Hazen White Enemy: Zero Zombie Army AC: 13 HP: 12
AC rolled: 7 With that said Tai followed Hazen’s eyes to the surrounding area and nearly cried at what he saw. Well he did cry, just in a manly way. “Why won’t they die!?” He then proceeded to cruller into a ball of denial hoping against hope that not thinking about them would work this time. It didn’t. Not that Tai knew as he was curled in the ball of denial.“Don’t worry Tai.” Hazen said resting a hand on his shoulder, feeling quite heroic after his near death experience, “I have a plan...” A shudder went through Tai as he looked up to find Hazen holding a knife and looking quite malicious. He wasn’t sure he wanted to know what this plan was.
Quickly he skittered several meters away like a crab before asking; “What did you have in mind exactly?” Hazen ignored his companion’s nervousness and continued to look evil. Tai watched in amazement as flames suddenly broke out behind him only to realizes it was just one of the houses catching fire from the explosion.
Hazen let out a cackle before replying; “We’ll use this to carve a ritual circle and summon a flame thrall!” he said referring to the knife.
Tai wasn’t sure how to carve a ritual circle or even what a flame thrall was, but he agreed anyway as it didn’t seem like a good idea to mess with Hazen at that moment.
It turned out when Hazen said ‘we’ he actually meant ‘I’ which was just as well as Tai had no idea what he was doing, not to mention he enjoyed the chance to sit on his a** for awhile. “I didn’t know you knew magic.” Tai commented as he watched Hazen scrape away at the frozen ground. Hazen didn’t comment and it wouldn’t be until awhile later that Tai found out he’d just been playing too many video games.“Okay,” said Hazen standing up and rubbing his hands together to get rid of any dust. “Now we need a sacrificial goat.” Tai cringed at the thought; he didn’t like goats much but he liked the thought of killing them even less. It was just too messy. But as the goat was a minor character thinking about it made it appear. It pissed on Hazen’s leg, who was standing at the edge of the circle, before wandering off. This seemed to do the trick though as a blue glow erupted from the circle causing Hazen’s evil chuckling to start up once more. “Now go my pretty! Kill the zombies!” The glowing died down and Tai watched a small spark fly though the air towards the zombies and then! Die halfway there. “Well it was pretty impressive for my first time.” Hazen said sadly, looking down at his piss soaked pants; now wishing he’d worn the tights underneath too. He thought for a second about asking Tai if he could borrow his but decided against it; realizing if he did there would be no end to the jokes Nightingale would make about him trying to get Tai out of his pants. Tai Penwright & Hazen White Enemy: Zero Zombie Army AC: 13 HP: 12
AC rolled: 18 Tai watched the goat with a quizzical expression; not even seeming to notice Hazen’s achievement.“Tai…?” He asked worriedly, but didn’t get a chance to finish the question as Tai got up and began chasing the goat around. Hazen concluded that he’d finally lost it and opted to just sit and watch. Eventually Tai caught the goat and came up to Hazen dragging it by it’s neck.“Hold this.” He said handing the goat off to Hazen who excepted it willingly, because when a crazy guy tells you to hold a goat, you hold that goat.
Grabbing it by the scruff of it’s neck he followed Tai who promptly broke into someone’s house and began rummaging through the Christmas presents.“Uh, Tai?” Hazen finally asked after they’d been threw several houses. He stood in the back ground as Tai rummaged around and feeling rather awkward. When Tai let out a grunt of acknowledgement he continued. “You sure this moral… or even legal?” Tai stared at the mess of Christmas presents a moment longer before turning to him for the first time since he’d handed him the goat. “No, but they’re only minor characters, I’m not too worried. Besides, what are morality and legality but straight-jackets for the unimaginative? Now pass me that goat.” Tai held out his hand and wiggled his fingers in a ‘come hither’ motion and Hazen gladly handed him the goat.
In total Tai had collected two skipping ropes, a wooden toboggan, two cases of jello, two squirt guns, and a rather large dog harness. When Tai began strapping the dog harness on the goat Hazen resigned himself once more to being eaten by zombies.
After some preparation, which included tying the goat to the sled with a skipping rope and filling the squirt guns with jello he beckoned Hazen over once more. “Okay.” He said, handing Hazen a squirt gun, “You shoot left and I’ll shoot right.”Hazen nodded reluctantly and fallowed Tai to the sled. “You sure that goat can pull the two of us?” He asked warily.“Of course.” Tai responded with all the confidence in the world. “This is a WTF story; it wouldn’t be legit if we didn’t defy the laws of gravity at least once.”Finally Tai had said something that made sense. So feeling a little more confident Hazen got onto the sled behind Tai.“On Dasher!” Tai called whipping the goat into action with on of the skipping ropes and, as predicted, it shot off like a rocket. It wasn’t a bad idea at all, Hazen realized, the jello worked much the same way as the stake causing any zombie hit by it to shrivel up and die, while the goat ran over anything that got in their way. It did have a flaw though as they only managed to kill four zombies before the squirt guns got clogged up and the skipping rope broke; allowing the goat to make a grand escape.
Tai stared at the retreating goat bum; devastated that his plan had not worked.
