And with the last of the zombies finally defeated, Chiisai-hime made her way up the dark spiralling stairs of Zero Omega's castle. However, not finding anyone on the moss covered roof, she pressed forward into the throne room and finally into the bleak great hall. Here, she saw a few bots hurriedly scurrying around... and a sudden murderous intent sent chills down her spine. She quickly glanced around for the source for it couldn't have been the idiotic bots. Her eyes searched the room more thoroughly, under the webbed tables, behind the tall drapes- And out of the corner of her eye, she glimpsed a navy clothed figure sailing down, no- falling down from the second floor balcony holding on to a small ripped piece of curtain. It landed with a resounding thud and shrivelled into a dark ball in the shadows.
A strong ray of light pierced through the grand windows to expose the clouded figure for an instant. For what she saw was so hideous, so terrifying, so revolting that the refined princess had no choice but to slump down onto the dusty floor in fear.
"Could it be? Those eyes... those teeth.... the red!!" she managed to gasp in distress, her pupils dilated.
"Yes, that's right, little girl! I am Zero Omega." the tall shadowed figure stepped forward and smashed the window panes, revealing his features more distinctly. His blood red sword gleamed within the fragments of glass and sun. Still, Chiisai-hime remained frozen beyond words, just in a daze, staring.
"Step into the courtyard and I will finish you!" He jeered and walked outside through the rubble, his cloak dripping in blood (poor guy was speared by the glass fragments)
Now recovered from her stupor, the princess snootily brushed herself off and slowly followed. Had she been given a chance, she would've liked to use the bots in the hall as shields in the fight, but perhaps Zero Omega had wanted to avoid that...
