"Lizzy," Roch said in a neutral tone. "Yeah, I know her." And he didn't seem like he wanted to talk about her. "Wha'd you get in your box?" he asked, suddenly remembering the homework. "I got two bottles of blood, haven't used them yet, though."
Were they supposed to find a partner or something? All he knew was that he was supposed to scare someone.

Roch didn't seem all that excited to talk about Lizzy.
"Ah yeah, Elizabeth. Ex?" His tone was pretty neutral. Not that he cared to pursue the pink haired demon but he was curious now. Even dogs could be curious. This was not just a feline trait.
But the topic changed and Neil found his tail was wagging as he slipped his hand into his pocket to reveal two things of fake blood. "What about you?"

Roch pulled out two just like the other boil's. Then he started thinking. "We're supposed to scare someone, right?" he asked, looking thoughtful. "Are we supposed to scare our partners or just someone at random?" he asked, seeing as he'd barely been paying attention to the teacher.

Roch seemed to avoid the question about Lizzy which marked her as his ex in Neils mind. He'd not bring her up again.
"We scare each other I think." He gave the boil a nod, "So me and you. Scaring. If you want That is.." Neil didn't sound all that interested in what he was saying but sincerely he did want Roch to be his partner. That was what he set out to do was to find a partner. Not only that, he wouldn't feel bad if he scared Roch. A ghoul on the other hand... Neil would feel guilty about.

"Hmmm," Roch said, looking at Neil for a long moment, thinking about it. "You scare me, I scare you, we call it a day and jot down some bull about what it was like, huh? But we KNOW we're trying to scare each other right now... How about we set up a week deadline? Surprise is a big part of this, right?"

The reaper made perfect sense. Doing the assignment right then and there when they expected it seemed to totally defeat the purpose of scaring. Scaring was about the surprise after all.
"Alright, I think that sounds better then being lame asses in the middle of the day." He gave the punk a nod, "Sounds good then."

"Then, Neil, I'll see you sometime this week," Roch said, holding up a fist to be bumped. "Probably before you see me," he added evilly before disappearing from sight.

Neil gave Roch a twisted grin of his and bumped his fist.
"We'll see about that then Roch." He gave the reaper one more nod before shoving his hands in his pocket.

A day passed. It seemed like nothing had happened. Another day passed, and it was almost as if the punk had forgotten they had homework at all. Then, when the gimblewolf was gone for a few hours, Roch slipped into his room carrying a small ice chest and a screw driver.
He headed into the monster boil's bathroom, working quickly, and surprisingly neatly as he took the showerhead off its bolts and slipped a frozen disk behind it before bolting it back on. Then he went to the faucet, taking the little cap off of it and sliding a few frozen blocks up the nozzle.
"Step one, complete," Roch said cheerfully before shadow stepping his a** out of there. The frozen blood would take a bit to melt, but would start dripping soon enough.

Neil had been out in town shopping for some new towels. The ones he had brough had SOME HOW gotten ink stains all over. They needed to be replaced immediately. Now, hours later after Roch had showdow stepped, the gimblewolf was at his door fumbling for his keys at his door. It had taken a minute, but Neil had found the right pair of keys and was slowly unlocking the door. The door opened as slowly as it had taken to find the keys. First stop was the bathroom of course. Those nice white towels needed to be put away after all. But first, he felt the need to maybe wash his face with one of those new, expensive, towels. He placed a new white wash cloth under his sinks faucet and turned the nob. Water did not come out but something gloopy and red and... OH JACK HIS WASH CLOTH! Neil stared in horror. It happened as if in slow motion, the blood fell and STAINED a new wash cloth. Neil's mouth was half opened in shock. The boil could not believe what he was seeing! He stared as more blood rushed out of the faucet and ruined his new wash cloth. His new WHITE wash cloth. "JACK DAMN IT ROCH!" Okay, he was mad now. Oh, it was on now. He was in such a hurry to find that reaper that he didn't bother to check the shower. There would be a nice bloody surprise later that evening though. ------------------------------------------ No, he did not find Roch. Or Roch's dorm room for that matter. But he knew that Roch was a reaper and that he'd have to make his way back to the reaper dorms eventually. And so, Neil lurked on a ledge in the shadows as if he was the mother ******** batman. Vengeance.

Roch had been visiting yet ANOTHER ghoul. Yes, another one. He had a good handful of ghouls that he checked up on regularly. But he looked rather happy, so it was to be assumed that this visit had come with something edible, so it was probably Taryn, although it could have been someone else.
Either way he was heading back to the reaper dorm, looking quite satisfied with himself, unknowing that an angry gimblewolf was waiting in the shadows.

A sadistic smile carved its way on to the monsters mouth. He grabbed one of the fake bloods and took a swig of the stuff before throwing him self off the ledge, landing front first in front of Roch. Blood leaked from the gimblewolfs head. Slowly, Neil trembled to push him self up. His face was still down, not looking at the reaper. More blood spilled. Neil was silent. Completely silent. He fell forward. Now he was still.
Long quiet moments passed until Neil shot up, face split in to four pieces, and snarled at the reaper. Blood spilled from the split parts.

Roch jerked back from where he'd been about to steal the other boil's wallet. "Dude, man, doesn't that stuff taste nasty?" he asked. "Or is that the cornstartch and ketchup type?"
Of course the fact that he was holding his guitar, which he hadn't been doing before, didn't go unnoticed. He had to admit, the whole face splitting thing? Pretty freaky.

Neils face reconnected. There were red lines from where the blood had dripped. That stuff stained real bad!
"Its cornstarch I think or something. Its nasty though.." The tone was bored sounding, but that wasn't anything new when it came to Neil. Slowly, he got up and dusted him self up. Next time he'd go for a different approach. Throwing him self off that ledge was going to leave bruises later. Not that it mattered much to the gimblewolf.
"Your approach was more creative," He rubbed his chin and frowned, "But you ruined my new linens." Okay, the way he said that last part was totally uncool. Neil only realized this after it had been said. He sounded like his mom.

Roch choked, his shoulders shaking as he started to laugh. "Dude, I know EXACTLY what you mean, though," he admitted. "I spent a week bleeding all over my new couch, it sucked really bad. Thank Jack I know Hel, though," he said. "Ghoul's a couch saver. So think we're done?" he asked. "Although this homework was right up there with the robot we had to build for mad science," he said, ranking his two favorite homework assignments ever.
"Oh, we gotta write somethin, too, right?"
