"How did--" He didn't get it and he'd SEEN it happen, he thought blankly. Wow. "Uhh... I dunno, let's try putting it all together?" he offered, starting the basics first, doing them three times, then doing the 360. He watched to see if she did it with him, worried she'd kick herself in some unimaginable way again. He couldn't hurt Savior, but it sure looked like Savior could.

Savior watched as Roch did the moves again, all of them in a strange order, and she nodded at first before she motioned for him to repeat it all. Kicking herself in the head was only because she'd swung her leg too far back and hadn't been paying attention, but as soon as Roch did the moves twice she was all good and ready for some action. "'kays."
The Marrowstripe moved and completed what Roch had shown her, her movements easy and her jumps not nearly as high or kicks not nearly as wild. Her legs still ached even if this was helping somewhat. Maybe after all of this she would go and try to find West or something, to ask him what was wrong. West seemed to know everything and Savior really, really liked him.
She liked Roch too of course, but then again there were very few things that Savior disliked.

He grinned, stopping for a second to turn the music up louder, then dancing with her. She was a hell of a lot better than he was, he admitted silently. He wasn't really that surprised, though. Often there had been people back home that weren't that great at talking, but had been great at fighting or dancing, or things like that. Bones hadn't been very interested in them, but Roch had.
They had rhythm. Where they didn't have that much logic, they had an inner beat, or something like that. He'd never really grasped it completely, but--
"Hey Savior!" he said, stopping. "Can you sing?"

Sing? What did Roch mean by 'sing', Savior had never heard that word before. Wasn't all this kicking motion stuff enough for fun, or did he really want more? At least he wasn't asking her all kinds of questions again and she approved of that. Savior did like them just dancing together, so why bring about the singing topic? Perhaps he meant could she make that whistling sound her kind was known for (at least where she came from)? If that was the case than sure, that was easy enough.
The Marrowstripe started to wiggle her fingers and from them came this high pitched whistling noise, like wind over the tips of a bottle.

"Ooooh," Roch said. "So you make sounds by moving?" he asked, looking at her fingers. "That's pretty awesome, too!" he said, looking more closely at her hands. He reached out slowly, showing that he just wanted to touch. "How's that work?" he asked curiously, trying to figure it out by looking.

Savior froze for a moment, not unlike a deer in headlights, as Roch reached for her. She pulled her hands back quickly, for a moment, and they whistled loudly at the movement. When it looked as though Roch wasn't going to try and eat her or something Savior extended her hands back out, her fingers curled.
She had claws instead of fingernails, not that most people ever got close enough to notice, and the tips of her toes were in the same manner.

He touched her hand gently, taking it and looking at it like one would look at an instrument. It was lighter than it should have been, and a thoughtful look crossed his face as he examined it. "I can only... think that your bones are hollow like wind chimes or somethin', right?" he asked curiously. "Or like a bird type minipet, right?"
He looked at the claws, but that wasn't that big of a deal, he was sort of used to claws. It was the fact that her bones made noise that caught his attention. "You're a jackin' living instrument!" he said, grinning widely at her. "THAT is pretty cool!"

Knowing all about how her body worked was not something to ask Savior. Roch would have had better luck getting answers out of another female, one not quite like Savior, or perhaps a male (if the male didn't try to kill and eat him). "Hallo." Sure her bones were hollow, whatever that meant. She could make all of them make that noise if she really wanted to, but most of the time it was easy enough to prevent by keeping her speeds down.
"Jackin."

"And I just taught you to cuss," Roch drawled, shaking his head. "Sorry bout that," he said, letting go of her hand. "Want to dance some more?" he invited, stepping back.

Savior was unaware that she'd been taught how to curse because hey - all words were new and meant very little to her unless she could use them in a proper context. Her use of 'jackin' for example had made them go back to dancing. Perhaps she should use that one more often if it got her what she wanted.
Nodding her head to the invitation the Marrowstripe repeated what she'd been shown, her movements still a little rocky but not nearly as bad as when she'd started out. "Fun." She motioned for Roch to join in.

He bounced twice, starting again, then launched into the dance, feeling more confident in this one than any other dance he'd learned before. And Savior? Great practice buddy! He'd have to remember that the next time he tried to learn a dance.
Idly he wondered if she had ever done ballet before, then he shrugged it off, figuring it was time to do jumpstyle. He liked jumpstyle a hell of a lot better anyway. Although, he decided with a grin, he could definitely see Savior and Nahm meeting without any problems.
Finally a ghoul he was WILLING to let the grue meet!
