Kaiko got a text, but didn't open it. She was talking with family, she would read it later.
"You think so?" Kaiko laughed loudly. She smiled thoughtfully as Akaito brought up asking Rin.
"You two probably would make a good couple, Akaito-Nii, and even if Meiko-Sempai's there, I'm sure you could still pull off some things. You shouldn't say you shouldn't go, because you can go and still be you," Kaiko said, smiling at her brother.

 Akaito still couldn't picture himself with a little runt like Rin. She was already pretty confusing to him and the more time he spent with her he supposed the more he got to know her. "I don't see it. I guess that's just something I don't think about that often. She's got that twin of hers who would apparently not approve of the whole thing." Tipping his head back his shifted his gaze over to Kaiko with a weak smile forming over his lips. "As fun as it would be to annoy that kid, I don't think I have it in me to upset Meiko and get kicked outta this place." Glancing over to her phone he shifted his gaze around for a moment before moving on with the conversation. "Are you going to go? I know a date isn't needed but.. I'm sure you've got friends that you want to go and hangout with there."

"Aw, that's just sad, you should still give it a try! Its almost like that song magnet, you know? About how relationships are accepted in society?" Kaiko said, trying to enourage her brother to ask the blonde out.
"I'm sure, as much a Meiko-Sensei can scold you, you won't get kicked out," Kaiko said, smiling at her brother. She tapped her fingers on the railing, thinking about the question he asked her.
"Well, a huge majority of my friends have dates, and the person I think I'm glued to has a crush on someone who's taken. I'm not sure if I'll go with them," Kaiko started, feeling quite strange to talk about something like this.
"Hm, seems like the people who are my close friends, sorta have a crush on the same guy who we're all friends with. Teto is dating Mikuo, but Lily seems to have a crush on him, even if she says no," Kaiko finished.
Of course, there were people she didn't know well. People like SeeU, Mizki, Neru, Miku, Rin, and probably much more people.
She just didn't know.
"I guess, if you're saying you won't go, maybe we can go to the carnival that night and just play games?" She was not asking him out, but she didn't want to go to a ball with others occupied. It would make her terribly jealous if she had to watch all the couples dance together. She would rather have spent it with someone else, rather than feel such a way.

Akaito sighed softly while keeping his gaze up towards the sky. The more he got to know her he supposed the more he could tolerate her so maybe going with her wouldn't be so bad as long as she doesn't pull any crazy stunts on him. "That's usually the case when there aren't enough men to go around everyone might have the problem with liking the same guy." Akaito slipped his thumb into his mouth biting at the tip for a bit then glances back towards his sister for a moment. "You're going to have to go out and make friends, which I'm sure you've been trying but you know... Join into social events. You never know who you'll meet." He felt a little odd saying something like that. He wasn't one for putting himself out there thus ditching classes and wandering around on his own he too didn't really meet that many new people. Akaito hasn't even seen his younger brother but he wasn't going to go seek him out. With his reputation he was sure he'd scare the life out of him. "I think you should go to the ball. Date or not, ya' know. I'm sure other girls are going to be there just to hangout with friends. And if you're having a crappy time, you could always find me and we'll have some fun."

"I guess you're right," Kaiko said softly, looking at the children in the park playing. She guessed that maybe she might even find a last minute date, or even a group of friends to hang out with.
"I guess I'll go, but if I do have a bad time, count on it!" Kaiko smiled at her brother, finding that he wasn't such a dark sinister man as all the others thought. She hoped he would go to the ball with Rin. Maybe even get a stable relationship after. She quietly sighed and looked onward.

Akaito stretched his arms up and over his head while letting out a slight yawn. Resting his hands behind his head he shifted about in his seat, letting his long legs stretch out a bit as well. "I'm sure you'll have a good time, imouto-san. We'll both have to try our best to make it that way. That or I'll start spiking drinks or something. At least that'll get something amusing going on." Akaito grinned at the thought of everyone wobbling about from spiked punch.

Kaiko laughed at Akaito talking about spiking the punch.
"If Kaito-Nii were to drink that, would he not be able to get up at all?" Kaiko asked. It seemed she couldn't stop laughing. It was all so funny.
"And I bet Meiko-Sempai might like that, as well as Haku-Sensei," Kaiko added, knowing that if he were to be caught, the punishment wouldn't be as hard.
"All in all, you'd have a pretty funny night," Kaiko giggled, calming down slowly.

Akaito chuckled softly at the thought of Kaito tripping over himself and falling all over the place more than usual just from being a bit tipsy. He was sure his brother was quite the lightweight as well. He doubted that he would take much to bring Kaito down. "I'm sure Meiko-senpai would really enjoy that, but just seeing Kaito and his clumsy ways. I still have to ask the guy if he's going. I'll have to remember to do that." Akaito tapped his index finger against his chin while thinking it over. "I'm sure he'll be there. Kaito is... the more social one, I suppose."

Kaiko grinned, liking her brother's idea. At least he made it a plan. It was something to look forward to.
"Kaito-Nii would definitely be there! Though, I don't want to see him on the floor for the entire night, but it would be funny," Kaiko said, tapping her shoes against the sidewalk. She snickered slightly, imaging Kaito and a bunch of other people drunk.
"I wonder if any of them are angry drunks, or funny drunks," Kaiko thought, a mischieviois look on her face.

Akaito grinned towards the thought of it but he actually knew Meiko-senpai quite well. "Meiko could go either way depending on her mood. For such an event I'm sure she'd be pretty sauced as soon as we get there.. I'm sure she'll be extremely nice and carefree if that were the case." Akaito shrugged a bit then twirled his thumbs around another. "I guess it would be easy to get away with just about anything if Meiko and Haku were drunk. I don't think they would remember a single thing from the party unless someone told them."

"I don't know Meiko-Sempai that well, but by what you're saying, it sounds like you could get away with anything if you give her alcohol," Kaiko said. She sighed softly and looked up to the clouds. Seemed there were few, but what were there were spirally. The almost reminded her of ice cream foam.
