"Yeah." Robert muttered, and it looked as though he was going to say more than just agree that Jordan looked good, but he received a hammer to the side and the air whooshed out of him.
He rubbed his side, and took a wide swing at Jordan, but pulled away before it connected.
What the hell was that?! Jezebel screeched.
It was gonna hit his face again.
AND?
AND SHUT YOUR ******** WINDPIPE, JAZZY.
Robert's face during this encounter was pure, ridiculous convulsion.

Jordan was pretty sure that that had been an intentional whiff. He narrowed his eyes slightly, stepped in for another almost-gentle tap. "Tag," he grinned. "You're it."
He was going to be watching what he said very carefully for a while. Really not so fond of spectacularly embarrassing himself in public.

"Jazzy.. shut.. up." He growled under his breath, barely moved by the gentle smack Jordan had given.
"Wait a minute." Robert tilted his head at an odd angle as he took in Jordan's phrasing. "Doesn't that mean you should be running? I mean if you just stand there while you wait for me to tag you, it's gonna be pretty easy to-"
HIT HIM ALREADY YOU JACKING IDIOT!
Robert winced so hard, he fell to one knee. Jezebel's screech was painful, even when it wasn't being used in her Fear charge.

Oh yeah?
"No witnesses who can tell anyone about it, anyway," Jordan amended. The corners of his mouth quirked suddenly as an idea occurred to him.

Robert was very hard to noogie. Jezebel had brought him down to one knee, however, and Jordan apparently took advantage of that.
So Robert flailed.
"BOSS, HOW IS THIS EVEN A FIGHT OH MY GOD AHAH WHAT THE ******** IS HAPPENING-"
It went on like this for some time.

"C'mon, man. You can't tell me you wouldn't take advantage of a golden opportunity for a free noogie." Ferros had been temporarily unsummoned, all the better to free up one arm for an amiable headlock and the other for a smack to the top of Robert's head, almost affectionately. "I had a little brother, I have had practice at this s**t." Jordan was laughing hard now; it probably wouldn't be difficult for Robert to throw him off, but for the moment, he had the upper hand.

Robert dropped Jezebel (she didn't even sound surprised) and wrapped both of his arms around Jordan. "I AIN'T NOBODY'S LITTLE BROTHER!" He screeched out in a laugh, picking the other man up and dropping him straight on Robert's leg in a wrestling move.
Yeah.
It was time to break out some wrestling moves.

Even in the middle of cracking up, Jordan noticed that Robert had outright dropped Jezebel. He let his friend drop him, going with the hit, and then slipped loose of Robert's grasp, rolling to the side and coming up in a crouch, an evil grin appearing on his face as Ferros reappeared in his hand. That was all the warning that Robert was going to get - this was still playtime, but it had gone back to armed playtime, as the hammer came sweeping towards Robert's legs.

What, this fight had just turned into playtime, right? Not serious sparring any-
WHAM.
And just like that, Robert was back on track. He was swept right off his feet, managing to barely kick at Jordan while he was down, but mostly just looking like a fool.
His arm reached out and grabbed for Jezebel once more.
Oh, you remembered me, have you? How sweet.

"Sorry. Sort of," Jordan said cheerfully. He stepped back out of range of being kicked, and spun the hammer in his hand; he could at least wait for Robert to get up before going for him again.

Robert stood up and grinned, wiping the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Bullshit, you ain't sorry." He grunted with a chuckle. "But you will be!"
He hurled himself at the boss, his usual straightforward attack, which he knew the man would be expecting - and at the last second, just as he'd been doing recently, Robert lifted into the air in a twirl, coming down at an angle with Jezebel slashing a wicked arc.

The unexpectedly angled attack connected hard, forcing Jordan back several steps, and he whistled. "Nice, man! Where'd you learn that?" He forgot, sometimes, that in spite of his size, Robert could be graceful when he wanted to - and that that was actually pretty impressive.
He brought Ferros up and around as Robert moved back again; it was only a glancing blow, though, the edge of the hammer's head clipping Robert's arm.

Robert's grin faltered when he was asked where he learned that, and he laughed nervously. "I uh.. learned it on the streets. You know. Street fighting."
You need a distraction, if you're going to lie that bad.
Jezebel was right. And as Robert felt her humming, he decided what better way to distract the boss than by disabling him completely!
The batleth started to rotate like a spinning wheel in his hands, faster and faster, until finally the screech of Jezebel's voice was audible and deafening to Jordan's ears, and the weapon exploded in a blinding light.

It was a spectacularly bad lie, and Robert got the skeptical eyebrow for it.
Jezebel's spin was distracting enough on its own; Jordan backed up a step, wary. He'd never seen the bathleth's charged attack, and out of both curiosity and caution, he kept a close eye on the weapon. A natural enough mistake, but still, a mistake. He yelped and rubbed ineffectively at his eyes as the brilliant flash blinded him, and his ears rang with the screech for long moments.
Move! Ferros snapped, alarmed.

"Boss?" The yelp had Robert worried, and he took a step forward hesitantly.

"Sorry, boss, I probably shouldn't have used my charge on you, huh?
