Zac's reaction to seeing the big blond with the bitty book was hilarious! Colin couldn't help his laughter; it was comical the way his friend's eyes got so startle-wide, the way his fingers clutched at the cell phone casing as though spasming from shock. "Before you ask - or think it - he doesn't
take anything weird or illegal. He's just
huge." Of this, he knew quite well - Björn's shoes were like clown-feet on his own comparatively dainty dogs and if Colin had tried borrowing the blond's shirt...it wouldn't just have been big on him, it would have been a
dress!
"Awesome, sounds like a plan. Oh, I should warn you...if we do go to the Destiny City Fun Center...it's
really noisy near the front entrance. Scores of screaming, screeching tweens practically live there...it's super annoying. But once you get past the entrance and part of the main arcade, it calms down and isn't so obnoxious." Because fewer tweens were there trying to be cool (and failing miserably to be anything
but tragically unhip) the further away from the DDR - and DDR-esque - machines one got.
Colin cocked his head, reading the numbers as Zac wrote them. "If I did, I lost it when I lost my old phone." He shrugged a little bit before stealing the pen so he could reciprocate and scribble
his cell number down for Zac's benefit. "Here's mine too. I'm the same way - texting is just so much easier anyway." Unless your name was Björn Guildson...in which case texting with those big 'ol mitts just wasn't something that was going to happen easily, if ever. Poor thing.
As he pushed the scribbled-on napkin towards Zac, his cell began vibrating again - another message from his family, this time from his mother. "Crap. Uh, I need to get going. I'm sorry to bail on you now, but when Mom says jump..." Colin grinned sheepishly while pushing one hand through his curly hair, "Let me know what Ever says, okay? I know the Fun Center sounds lame, but they've got all sorts of activities that can be fun--I know they've got a website, so you guys can look at that if you want. Or if you think of something else, alright?"
With short, sure movements the dancer gathered his earlier purchases and half-finished drink so he could go. "See you later Zac!" Another big, bright smile for his companion and then he was making his way away from the store, cell phone being poked at and then shoved against his head - calling his mother? Probably. If Zac strained, he'd hear the boy's first lines, "Hey Mom -- No, Sorry. I lost track of time...."

That's a wrap for me, I think - until we do the date RP? so feel free to close and then I'll work on a new thread? I talked to Blue about the Fun Center idea and she said it could be potentially hilarious. IDK how far back we want to "backdate" the whole thing, but uh...yeah. xD WE WILL WORK IT OUT
