Their mothering and pestering annoyed Otto, a lot. They fussed like they were his adopted family. It made him feel like they really did see him as a child or small puppy, and that ticked him off. "Lemme alone." He grumped, getting up and avoiding Eva's help. Kind of. He may have used her shoulder to stand. He probably did. Yeah. He did.
Still, even they made him feel like a pet, they seemed to genuinely care. And even he knew trying to fix himself up would go badly.
He cast a glare at Reine. Who didn't touch his boobs when he was in that golem? Honestly. "Fine, just don't go batshit crazy again." Otto warned, leaning on Eva. "And you.. don't ********' leave me with that H dude alone."

Oh, she had noticed, Reine, but she didn't say anything about it. Instead, she simply raised her brows in a kind of "oh really?" gesture before smiling. "Alright, let's get out of here before Otto bleeds dry and permanently stains anything." She gave the boy a very gentle pat on the back to indicate that she was joking before she jerked her head towards the door.
"Don't worry, puppy, I won't leave you alone with Dr. H. I've heard from a lot of the other trainees that he's..." Trailing off, she shot a little grimace over to Reine, as if pleading that--once they got Otto to the clinic and Reine went to "talk" to Robert--she would not leave either of them with the man for long.
Considering those stories she had heard of him? Shudder.

"I know, kiddo, but we've been through this- no one touches you other than me and Evie, right?"
Okay, that sounded questionable even by Reine's own standards.
"What I mean is, uh, we're here for you!" She smiled when he leaned on Eva, and shot the girl a look that said: awww, puppy's being adorable!
"Let's get going, then. And I promise, I'll stick with you two- make sure Otto gets those bandages redone and those injuries dressed, at least, then we can, uh, carry him back to hi-- uh, a room and let him rest."
Reine clearly had a strong opinion towards Otto's room.

Otto raised a brow at Reine's choice of words, even as she amended them. "Riight.." Here for him. Sure, whatever.
"H-hey! I ain't gonna be needin' ya to carry me back." Otto insisted, looking a mix of irritated and worried. Just what did they think was ging to happen to him? "Thought ya said he's just gonna change the bandages?"
Startled puppy is startled.

Awww their little puppy! Their little...tsundere puppy? Was that the term for it?
That didn't matter. "Sounds good with me! I'm sure the two of us can carry him back," Eva agreed, ignoring Otto's protests. The slight concern that she detected in his voice made her turn back to look at him, however, and she couldn't help but smile. Was he worried?
"Awwwwwwww, puppy!" That was not a very helpful or reassuring response.

"We don't know if you might have injured- that is, Robert might have injured you worse than you think." There was a scowl on Reine's face that evolved into a murderous look, even as she remained silent.
Snapping out of it finally, she glanced over at Otto. "So we'll just let them give you a thorough checkup, clean up all your wounds, and your room." Reine couldn't help but smile, though, at the expression on his face; he looked like a lost little boy.
Sort of. If you squinted really hard.
"C'mon, Evie. Help me get him up.." She lifted one of his arms, putting it over her shoulder, then gestured to Eva to do the same. It wasn't that Otto couldn't walk on his own- he probably could- but Reine rather liked the idea of being useful.

"D-don't aww puppy me!" Otto snapped back at Eva, his brows knitting together in frustration. "I ain't no friggn' pet!"
His attention went to Reine, somewhat listening to her explain why he needed to be looked at properly. And something about his room? The teen was almost shaking from agitation. And maybe pain. Probably both. "I'm fine. My room is fine."
And he was quite blatantly ignored as Reine moved his arm over her shoulder. "Godammit, woman! I can walk on my own!" He yelped at the girl, wincing as the movement stretched his wounds. It was as if he didn't notice or care that his clothes were stained with his own blood, or his arms cut up oh so grossly from defending against a blade. Or maybe he did know, since he wasn't fighting against either girl. Not physically anyway.

She was careful to be gentle as she followed Reine's lead and took up his opposite arm, grimacing at all the wounds. And when he protested..."Otto?" For once, Eva used his actual name, and she actually sounded serious, "Just...let us help, okay? We don't like seeing you all hurt like this."
Pause.
"Our poor puppy, so cut up! It's so worrying to see our baby like this!"
Yeah, she couldn't keep the serious face up for long. Honestly though, she was genuinely concerned about their friend. She was surprised her was still conscious considering the fact his shirt had a giant red stain on it that was still growing.

"She's right," Reine said, looking at Otto with what she hoped was a reassuring smile. She didn't attempt to refute 'not a friggin' pet', after all, that would probably just agitate him more.
"You'll be fine, your room will be fine." Reine was using the future tense for a reason- she'd already planned a little ahead. An Intervention was in order, probably. "Now come on," she wheedled.
"It won't be that far to the infirmary." The life trainee flashed her friend a grin- what would she do, really, without Evie around?

His eyes moved up to meet Eva's. She used the name. She must be serious.
And then she reverted.
His eyes drifted to Reine as well, finally giving a resigned sigh. He looked defeated, he felt defeated. "F-fine.. whatever." He mumbled softly. He was too out of it now to fight back their teasing or their insisting. Maybe it was the blood loss. Probably the blood loss. All in all he just wanted to go to bed and sleep.
Otto did exactly as the girls asked him to after that.
