(( Entering yo. ))

Harrison only looked momentarily thrown off, and any dismay he might have felt was swept clear by this really overwhelming feeling of peace and goodwill towards men. He'd thought, all things considered, he'd have a problem several aspects of this particular scenario, but after a quick heart search he realized it was all good and what did that kind of thing really matter when it came to true love and Christmas.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say you'll regret this in the morning.

Where's your Yo ho holiday spirit?

I buried it.

Ha ha! Is that a body joke or a pirate joke?

Both. ...Wow. Looking at that reigndeer costume, maybe she really is meant for you.

"I really wish I'd been able to find a sweater," Harrison said regretfully to Candace.

Bix, feeling nervous, was greeted by a talking reindeer. It was a reindeer that didn't sound like Clarice. His stomach flopped but he was unsure as to the cause. Was it the added mystery? Was it disappointment? He was then dragged, like a game show contestant, and deposited onto a couch. Before he could say hello, say goodbye or even goldfish gape the word 'what?' he was being interviewed.

"Christmas? Well Umm.." Bix blinked and smiled a bit. Well that was kind of easy. Wasn't he just talking about Christmas with Cass? "The food, The bright lights. The cheer. I was actually just about to decorate my own room when I ran into Cass. Christmas is fun and colorful and umm.. traditions? I like traditions."

You rambled.
You are making me self conscious.
Sit up straight. Look that strange deer creature in the eyes when you speak to it.

His cheeks just turned pink. Was it a good answer? Did he fail?

A couple of things happened on that exact moment. Julie, clapping her hands - plush hooves - excitedly at Bix's remark, finally stopped squealing long enough to apprehend the two other visitors into the room. And as Cass wobbled over, the Moon Hunter took the marshmallows, dropped them on the table, and sauntered over to Harrison, eyeing the trainee up and down, well, plush reindeer head simply bobbling up and down, really.

"A good choice, a good choice. Pink is such a masculine colour." She pulled Harrison next to Bix, the two of them forcefully positioned sitting on the ground across the coffee table from Julie. "Cass, Candace, can you be a dear and get us some more cookies, one for each person? They're in the kitchen."

Before the two girls could question how there were more cookies when the only thing on the table were two cups of hot chocolate and a bag of marshmallows, Julie had already propped her elbows against half the coffee table - the drinks leaning to one side precariously - staring deeply into Bix and Harrison with her plush reindeer eyes (there was actually a small hole insert inside the 'mouth' of the reindeer, but it would be weird just to say she was staring at them with her mouth, which in theory, she kind of was).

"Okay, now that preliminary questions are over, these are the real questions. One of you two lovely gentlemen will walk away with the grand prize today for Holidays and hopefully beyond. That is, me." Thank god the stockings hanging on the side of her wall all wrote the name JULIE on them in embroidered gold, defining very clearly who 'me' was. It could have been worse, they could have said CAELIUS or something. "Now, choose your answers carefully, because while you are both promising, I have also promised my heart only to one."

"First questions first. Now why don't you tell me something about yourselves?"

"Welcome back..." Cass greeted to Candace with a cough, her expression saying plainly 'RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN, DEAR SWEET JESUS', even as she watched poor Harrison get..checked out. Well, it seemed to be an interesting variety, if nothing else, and she flashed Bix a smile before she looked back to the flat to determine the first place to start looking, muttering to Candace a quite 'The fridge is terrifying' as she moved away from the enthusiastic Julie and the table of looooovvveeee.

Oh god......

Cass walked over to one of the cupboards, opening it up just for a scene out of some cartoon to occur. For a second, things seemed safe. Cass reached up to move something...and then suddenly out spilled everything. It was like a torrent of joy and death as the mist trainee shrieked, just to suddenly be on the floor, covered in Christmas ornaments from hell.

"DEAR GOD, JULIE, YOU NEED TO CLEAN THIS PLACE UP." she keeled as she pried herself out of the pile. "I can't die here, Candace. If I die, I'll die underneath a pile of Julie's s**t and then nobody will ever find me because it won't look out of place"

Julie had to have a head body stashed around there somewhere, outside of the possibly-dead-baby in the fridge.

Bix found himself once again jostled, dragged and rearranged until he was seated on the floor next to Harrison. "Hey man.." Bix gulped but nodded to the other boy. Was he really into snagging this girl or was he doing Candace a favor like Bix was? Julie's speech was slightly daunting. Was she planning on marrying one of them? Well he could at least try to win... right? Put forth his best effort?

"That is a very nice reindeer costume, Julie..." Bix smiled, sucking up a bit maybe. "Umm.." something about himself. "I like comic books and I try to work hard and... AAACHHOOOOOO!!" Bix's allergies seemed to hit suddenly. Was it all the greenery stuffed into the tiny dorm? Probably. "AACHHHOOO!!" His eyes began to water.

"Hell yeah, they're afraid of this stuff you know. Monsters. Wearing anything pink's like wearing a belt of heads. They should start issuing Hello Kitty jackets for the intimidation factor."

He looked at the decorations with increasing cheer, noting the pink ribbon and ornaments around the tree. He wasn't sure what Julie needed all those stockings for, though. That was cheating the system.

Fireplace hax, B0nez said with approval.

Harrison didn't even wince in pain when she sat him on the floor. He absolutely lit up at Julie's suggestion to go get more cookies, then struggled to pay attention to the reindeer looking for her one true love.

"Uh, actually-" he started, but got distracted by Bix, "That is a really great reindeer outfit. Hey, Candace! It's a shame we couldn't get Jerry in here to finish it out, huh? Ha ha!" he snickered, but once the laugh started, it was almost impossible to keep his belly from shaking like a bowl full of jelly. He bent over, half in joyous laughter, half in extreme pain from the damage on his torso that was eating its way through the JOY barrier.

"H-hey, haha- hohoho- It's a f-funny story, actually, because me and Jerry got stuck in this giant stuffed unicorn costume on Halloween, and it ain't hard to guess which part he was, hohohahaa, hoo..." He tried to manage asking Bix through the laughs, "You- you need a hanky or something?"

Candace seemed to swell with pride when Julie called her best friend a good choice. Damn right he was a good choice.

Wait. What. Cookies? She was about to comment that there were no cookies to begin with when Cass muttered something to her and distracted her away from it. The fridge? Ugh. She didn't even want to imagine what that was like. Candace shuddered and walked toward the kitchen area with the caution of a person made of paper approaching a bonfire. Should she really be going near this place without at least a hazmat suit? Was she going to leave this place needing a tetanus shot or five? Got she hoped not.

"Sure, Julie..." She grimaced as she opened the fridge, nearly gagging right then and there before forcing herself to begin sifting through the amount of s**t in this thing. It was like Julie didn't even live in here! What the hell!? She found a cookie though, the back of her hand pressing against her mouth as she forced herself not to dry heave at the very thought of someone eating a cookie from this fridge. She'd..just hope no one ate this one. Ugh. Oh god. She fridge was quickly closed and the cookie set down on a clear space of counter. Gross. Gross! "Now I see why you--oh s**t! Cass!" She hurried over to the ornament pile to try and dig Cass out of it, helping the girl out and dragging her to freedom. Freedom being just outside of the pile. "Are you okay?! Oh my god...i-it's okay, Cass. I don't think you're going to die. It's just a kitchen. Nobody dies in the kitchen." That wasn't true but they could pretend.

"I..I found a cookie! One down! Four to go~." She tried to raise her spirits. Yay cookie!

Harrison called out to her and she looked out the kitchen to chuckle at him. "I'm not bringing my boyfriend here to test for Julie's one true love, buddy." She turned to Cass and pouted. "They're having fun, at least? I wonder where Ariane is."

The fact the counter didn't just turn around and devour Candace's cookie was a surprise, but Cass didn't dwell on it just thankful to be free from the ornament death-squad that had descended down upon her. This was going to be quite a task, wasn't it? "T-thank you.... " she heaved, but didn't dare touch any other surface in this kitchen. It was terrifying. It was like the twilight zone.

A horrible, nasty, twilight zone. She was waiting for the music to que up at any moment.

"Okay... 4 more cookies to find. We can do that..." I don't even want a cookie...her expression said it all, but maybe they could keep most of the deadly cookies out of the boy's hands if they took them and disposed of the evidence in some other way.

"Mmm, it's fun..I guess. I dunno. I might need to eat one of those cookies I left in my room when I go back to it though..." she noted sadly, fully aware that eating the cookies was a suicide mission/stupid thing. Never the less, it seemed like as a glutton for punishment, she turned right back to the cupboards, opened another one...
....

"s**t!!"

And down came more of the ornaments, taking Cass down to the floor with them again.

"Thaaaat's the spirit." Candace chuckled, helping the girl up to her feet...only for her to turn right back around and check another cupboard full of ornaments. "Oh my god! Julie! How many ornaments do you have?!"

Why does she have this stuff in her kitchen.. That was an even better question! Argh!

That was it. Candace was not opening any cupboards. Instead she checked the oven, a logical place for cookies. But all that came of that was Candace slamming it closed and stumbling away, choking on black smog. What the ********: 30/40

"You alright??" she asked to Candace as she keeled away from noxious oven-fumes, unburying herself from the stash of ornaments she was splayed out on top of..and underneath as well. Ow, she probably had just gotten stabbed all over by glass. Fuuucckkk.

Cass grabbed the counter to pull herself up again, making a face at the residue left on her hands before she wiped it off on her pants. Sorry pants, she'd wash you later. But this..this was ridiculous. If she died here, she hoped at least her body could go to Dr. H to help further whatever science he needed it for.

Or something like that. She didn't want to die in this kitchen though. She grabbed onto the handle of another cupboard to right herself by, pausing when she saw where her hand was and slooowwwllyy removing it away from the cupboard.

...?

The door of it shook ominously and a worried look came over Cass's face.

It stopped and Cass seemed to relax...

And then the whole thing bursted open, raining more Ornaments down upon the mist trainee like a horrible tidal wave, sweeping her out into the hallway underneath their wrath, sliding along on top of previous ornament assaults.

"JULIE, WE NEED TO TALK." she screamed as she hit the floor once again.

Candace coughed and nodded a little, patting her chest and leaning against the counter. "I'm--" Cough, hack. "I'm good...I'm goo--CASS NO!" She tried to stop, and at first Candace had also been relieved...until the cupboard exploded.

"...D..do ornaments..breed?" Before anyone could answer a few ornaments from one of the already opened cupboards seemed to appear from nowhere, bouncing out of the cupboard and banging against her head. Ow! Ow! OW! Son of a...!

Sighing, Candace trudged over to try and free the younger trainee. "You okay?"

Cass frowned. "I'm sort of...afraid..to look anymore.." she admitted, looking into the kitchen from where she was, then to Candace, this utterly pathetic look on her face. "I'm going to need cupboard therapy. I'm never having cupboards in my house ever.

Mr. Face can find me for all I care." she keened, but still, she steeled her courage and walked back into the kitchen to start looking again. It seemed a few steps in, however, she stepped on something. Looking down, she expected another ornament to be under foot. Instead.. she found a broken cookie.

She picked it up.

"I'll take it." she said, turning to show it to Candace then sighing. This sucked.

"Good. Be afraid, be very afraid." Candace said seriously, frowning and giving Cass a gentle pet on her head as she looked so pitifully to her. Cupboard therapy was funny despite the possible seriousness behind it. This 'mission' was apparently going to be mentally and possibly even physically scarring. Poor Cass. She didn't understand the Mr. Face reference but didn't let that be known.

...Gross. She stepped on a cookie.

Coughing one last time she sighed and turned around, giving the kitchen another once over. Where else could they look? Not the cupboards, not the oven...perhaps the fridge really was their only option. She frowned and warily opened it, fully expecting a monster to come flying out and eat her face off.

A cookie falling out would do!

"Found another one. Do you...think we can pretend we got hungry and ate ours before we went back?" Candace whispered to Cass, giving a look to the doorway out of the kitchen. Julie seemed gullible enough to believe them...

Cass looked out at the table, then at the cookie she'd stepped on, then back out at Julie again.

"I'm willing to risk it." she said, taking a deep breath and picking up her cookie she'd found, then looking to Candace, nodding once, then walking out to the table where Bix, Harrison, and Julie were, setting hers down in front of Julie - she assumed the moon hunter wouldn't even care about it since she was wrapped up in boys.

Yesss.. that'd do.

"We'll leave you three over here to enjoy your cookies, Candace and I will let you guys have your alone time and wait in the kitchen, kay?" she said, really hoping Julie wouldn't force them to come and sit with them. Ah ha ha ha. It was Julie's important interview, yeah!..
...

Hrrnngh... this was strange stuff, this room.

She was glad Cass agreed, because she honestly did not want to have to deal with this kitchen any longer than she had to. She grabbed the two cookies she had found and followed Cass back to the rest of the group, setting her two cookies in front of Harrison and Bix. "Heyyyy, soooo...we kinda got hungry while searching and ate our share of the cookies. I hope that's okay?" They were going to get eaten eventually, after all.

Candace shot Cass a look of despair when she said they were returning to the kitchen. She mouthed a 'REALLY?!' and nearly whined, doing a good job of holding it back. "Yeah, I'm sure you want some privacy with your two dates, huh?" She gingerly reached out to pat Julie's...reindeer head and then slowly began to back away.
