Taken off guard, the man squeaked, stumbling back from the blow. "I.. I wasn't ready! Ahahaha!"

"You can't not be ready! No excuses!" Perhaps the giggling was starting to get a little out of hand now... Walking to Jerry, she helped pull him off the ground, then jabbed at him lightly with the tip of her blade.
"Stay focused, okay! Robert's huge so like you can't miss, seriously! Or if you do you better have a good reason for it! This is so fun!"
Skipping back a few steps, she waved her arms at him. "Remember what I said!"

"AHAHAHA it is really like firing at a jeep! He's surprisingly light on his feet, though. I bet he could dance circles around me," He pouted. Such a waaaaste.... his stomach clenched, bazooka heavily repositioned on his shoulder as he took aim.
Roar barked forth with a flash of green light, the sound rippling the air between them before crashing into the girl with ear-ringing force.

"Eeep!" She managed a squeak between giggles, Jerry's hit pushing her a few steps backwards.
"That's not too bad, not too bad! You can do it! See! Don't let that unicorn get you down! Go Jerry!!"
Reine bounced up to him for a high-five, grinning. She might have ended up slapping him in the face instead..

He blinked at the sudden smack. Yes... yes he could do this! HE COULD DO THIS! He would challenge Robert again and he'd BLAST HIM AWAY! AND THEN HE COULDN'T SAY NO! Unfortunately, for now, there was just a much more petite Reine at near point-blank range of Roar's muzzle as he jerked back and pulled the trigger.
He stared as the force blew her backward, taking a few moments to realize what he had done to a fellow trainee. That sunk in, his smile broadened. "Ah... ahahah... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!"

This time- with her encouragement, Reine thought happily- Jerry's hit knocked her clean off her feet; he was getting the hang of it!
Which meant she needed to hit back- and she did, slashing hard at him.
"Look! We're both awesome! SO AWESOME!"

The sun-trainee gave a long yelp as he toppled backward in the barrage of ice, Roar snarling as their Fear Shield ripped away. "I... er-" He managed, taking a moment to catch his breath- but only a moment. He quickly gathered himself up, expression contorting into one of manic excitement, "Roar's also got a fantastic voice..." He aimed. He fired. Green light flickered from the cannon's eyes, gathering in it's throat before the next bark erupted outward in what could only be described as a glowing roar

It hurt. It hurt so much, but she reminded herself that it was just pain and it would be over and even as she struggled to get off the ground she was giggling again.
"THAT'S HOW YOU'RE GONNA TAKE HIM DOWN, ISN'T IT?" She was so proud of him! She was disorientated enough, at least, to hit out and yet miss. That was a good sign for Jerry, wasn't it?
