The dragon's tail was still, his gaze turned across the room yet focused on nothing in particular. He did not like the sound of that, at all. It was like his worst nitemares come true. Not only were there suddenly hunters, humans who somehow wielded weapons that had once been halloweeners, not only did they seem far more prepared for this fight then the students, but now he had learned they could also disguise themselves as halloweeners. What the jack, this was not what he had thought he would face when he was enrolled in Ammityville.
He was silent for several moments, silver eyes dark as the thoughts reeled in his mind. What would his own family think when they heard of the recent events, had they heard of it already? Would they do anything or would they fall for the propaganda of the boogiemen? Maybe it would be better for them all if they left the school...
Finally he shook his head, at last breaking the silence.
"No, I don't think it would be any safer if we left. I do not fully trust the staff, but at least with them around we have some protection. Somehow, I don't think we're the only ones in danger. I suspect this is just the beginning and all of halloween will be in danger."

She knew she had troubled the Dragon with her information. Especially now that he shared his with her. Pieces of the true danger they faced came together for her which left her with so many courses of things to do.
She felt better though, getting it off her chest, sharing with someone her fears so they could do something about it.
Knowledge was power when it could be. It gave them more to go off. Where hunter's stayed two steps ahead of them, they lagged behind. Weren't they suppose to be the big bad scary things in the human world? Weren't they the ones suppose to be feared...not do the fearing? She rubbed Sheridan's arm in thought before smiling up at him.
Look at her friend. Such strength, and knowledge. Such resolve. It was nice to know that he felt so strongly for the place.
"I agree." She nodded before standing up, "Thank you Sheridan, you have helped me resolve my feelings about this event." The tears that had sparkled a moment before were wiped away and she looked at him dead on. (with a slight flush). "Do you want to spar with me sometime Sheridan? I want to become stronger so I can protect...people I like." She blushed again, thinking of Mac...Lizzy, Xiu and Sheridan. She wanted to help them, not hinder them. "It doesn't have to now though. When...When your ready."

The dragon blushed faintly, standing to his feet as Amphi did. He may have seemed a bit unsure, or at least startled, not really thinking he had done anything of note or that required thanks. In any case, it did seem that his friend was less sad and more cheerful than she had been such a short time before, and for that he gave her a smile.
"Of course, any time you would like."
Sheridan had never been much of a fighter himself, always having been more inclined to fly away from any threat than to face it head on. But past events had taught him flight was not always an option, in fact it seemed more often that it was not. No, learning to fight was now a necessity, perhaps a priority, if they were to survive they would have to learn.
It was a task Sheridan had already taken on, and though his first battle with Petro had ended in spectacular failure on his part, it was a step in the right direction. There was a determination in his eyes, this dragon was not giving up, he would make sure he was ready next time the hunters came.

She smiled at him again before squeezing his hand and nodding.
"Okay, I'll...I'll come find you when I'm ready?" She smiled as she thought of the battle. She had never....ever fought another student before, and was surprised that she would think to do so.
No she sat on the sidelines and tried to figure out things rationally instead. This was sure to be a experience.
"I'll see you later then Sheridan." She looked around his room one last time before leaving. It wasn't bad, his room. We're all boils rooms like that?
