Silent Harry Mason Feriku The SH3 HD version is NOT going to have the option of using the old voices! That's not fair! Dx I see, well this is NOT going to be played by me. : D Today I was just thinking that maybe, maybe it would be worth it. To get the originals new is going to be quite expensive, as would used ones if I wanted them on PC, not so much other systems...and since it worked so perfectly that two I had yet to play were being re-released, maybe I should consider buying them. So I decided to look up and see if the original music was still in them, at least as an option. I never did find out, since I saw that about the SH3 voice actors! I guess that really does prove that the reason they put in the option for the old SH2 voice actors was because of Guy Cihi, not because of fans begging. crying I haven't even PLAYED the original games, but I can call the voices to mind well enough that I can't imagine, for example, Vincent sounding different.

Well there is one way you can get the originals, SH2, SH3, Sh4 are all available on Amazon for 20 something dollars each. SH1 as well, just make sure to get them used. For the computer, depending on your settings, you can make them look good without even using mods though. And that is a bummer that Konami lacks that much care for the game that they won't even deal with these issues.

I have SH4, too, which I actually got new for a pretty good price (though I kinda regret getting the Xbox version, since I get goofy graphics glitches). SH2 I could get pretty cheap used for the PS2, but if I want it for the PC, even used it's over $40. SH3 is slightly less.

I got Sh2 for 20-30 dollars something like that for pc.. though it has outstanding voice glitches unless you put it in the right mode... SH3 has had no sound, or otherwise any glitches for me, it is 20 something dollars for PC on Amazon. Hopefully you can get both of them. ^.^ At least you have 1, and 4. The reason buying SH2, SH3, and SH4 equaled over $100 was because I bought all three at once. :U

Since I still have a LOT of games to play, I'm not going to get either for a while yet. By the time I'm ready, heck, maybe the price will be lower, too. I've been thinking of getting a new computer, so do you know how they run on Windows 7? I heard SH2 had some problems where you couldn't save or anything until you changed certain settings.

Oh yeah, they run on windows 7. And I run them both as administrator to be safe. I can save Sh3, and Sh2. I've had absolutely no glitches with 3 or 4. Two has some lagging problems occasionally, but that stopped, now I mostly have sound issues, this can be resolved if you run it on a certain mode though. I'm going to livestream SH3 one of these days again, I've been streaming Silent Hill and stuff via my computer. :U
