Muka's comment about Neil being scary may have gotten him a few points back. Neil was a bit of a sucker for compliments though he'd never admit it. The tail wag gave his pleasure away though.

"New? Yeah." Neil grumped. There wasn't much more the gimblewolf could add to the conversation then that. The fact that Muka was new too wasn't of much concern to him. Neil didn't care that the two were both newbies. Partly because Neil didn't care about most things and partly because he was still butt hurt about almost being eaten. Muka hadn't eaten him though to the strix's credit.

The gimblewolf stopped and actually thought about if the roles had been reversed.

"If I was you, then yeah it would be funny I guess because it seems that you find everything funny," Neil was being sarcastic. But honestly, Neil would be laughing about it if the roles were reversed. Maybe not quite LIKE Muka's laughter, but he'd be amused none the less.

"So what if I had been some ones minipet...?" Neil mumbled the question.

Logic seemed to actually have worked which actually sort of surprised Neil. He had under estimated the owl monsters ability to pretty much nothing. He'd written Muka off as an annoyance and nothing more. But now, Neil was looking at the boil wordlessly unable to really say much of anything.

It took a while to choke up a few words.

"Don't touch me," Finally came out when the owl monster patted his arm. That wasn't what he meant to say but he did mean it. One thing Neil hated was other boils touching him. Specially ones that he didn't know much about.

"Err.. No no." He shook his head, that had come out wrong. Still, Neil did not say sorry. "I mean to say. Yeah. Campus you never know what your hunting." He nodded. There, thats what he had wanted to say sort of. Still, Muka had impressed him completely. Neil was never going to admit to that though.

Neil lifted a brow at Muka. It was kind of hard not to let the owl monster off easy with the previous crime of almost eating him. It was clear that the owl was really aware of how he was. So Neil held back a snappy sarcastic remark about agreeing with his father.

That frown never faded though.

"School? Sure." He gave the Strix a nod, "I took acting and ... It was fine but there was this one ghoul that I think hates me. Has white hair and some kind of reaper." He frowned. Honestly, he was upset that Anna was upset with him. One thing the boil hated was to see a ghoul upset. Even worse was when they cried. But Neil was so awful with ghouls that usually him trying to cheer them up ended up poorly. There was Elsa who he'd upset too.
