Yume nodded towards Lute hearing his words on his friends. "Good. I should hope you wouldn't."
When Yume heard Lex say Lute's halo was a hat, she couldn't help but laugh. Lex was just staring at Yume, her face just blank. "What is so funny?"
Lex then turned and looked at Lute again and noticed his small wing. It was then her face turned white. "You mean he's....is...an angel?" She turned and stared at Yume.
Yume smiled and looked over at Lute. "I guess you could say that, couldn't you?"

Lute just got a sad look before looking around for a nice shadow to curl up in and hide. . . he was waiting for the odd looks, the bad comments. . . maybe even attacks against him. "I'm suppose to be." Was all he could think of to answer as he let go of his halo slowly. "Just. . . a messed up one." His words were all almost whispers as he talked about the one thing he never liked too talk about.

Yume looked up and saw his face. When she saw the frown on it, she cast him a quick smile before she turned back towards Lex. "Yep. He's an interesting guy like most of them are."
Lex couldn't help but watch Lute and then Yume. "You guys are so cool! I wish I could have something like that!"
She was jumping up and down now looking the pair over. Her eyes were wide and she couldn't seem to stop smiling.

"cool?" Lute couldn't help but look up in surprise at that, before given a soft smile. "You. . . you really think it's cool? It's not a bad thing for an . . . . an angel to be like me?" His eyes rested on her looking her over once more tilting his head as if he was seeing her for a first time in a different light. . . she was interesting to say the least.

Lex was smiling brightly. "What would I think it was bad? It's so cool!" She moved around him and touched his wings. As she ran her hand against them, she giggled.
Yume smiled and shook her head. She then looked up and nodded towards Lute. She was happy he stayed. "Told you she wasn't too bad. Maybe you two can be friends." Her tail was wagging happily. She had never seen Lute look like that and it was nice.

Lute gave a slight chuckle when Lex touched his wing as if it tickled. . . he really only have one black one. Turnning trying to watch her but not destract the girl from her study Lute gave a soft smile not seeming to mind at all. They didn't think he was a freak. . . he was unworthy or evil. They thought he was. . . cool? Glancing to Yume making sure she didn't think he forgot him he nodded abit. "I . . . I think I might like that."

Yume clapped her hand together smiling. "I'm so happy about that Lute. You don't know how much that means. And see, school is good..for something." She smiled walking over towards Lex and joining her in the study of Lute.
"How did you to get like this? I mean...wow...I have never seen anything like it." Lex stood staring towards both Lute and Yume, her mouth in a wide smile and her eyes opened as far as they could go.
"I was born this way. And I'm sure he was too." Yume smiled up at Lex as she pointed to herself and then Lute.

Alida had turned from the kid who yelled at her and went to sit down in a desk, as far away from where he was as possible, her shoulders hunched, and her wings drooping. She slid into the seat, and set the heavy book of poetry in front of her, staring at the cover with her hands fisted in her lap.
Meanwhile, the kid was shooting terrified glances at her from across the room, while whispering to another girl who was dark-haired and slender, and listening intently.

Lute's smile faded abit before nodding to agree with Yume. "I was born this way. . . My father. . . ." His eyes narrow dangeriously. "I. . . I shouldn't be here. . . . I shouldn't be allowed to be here." He was semi stuck in a flash back although he really didn't know who he was saying that too or if it was too himself. His wing folded tigher against his back as if for protection with his words. "I'm sorry. . . I'm cursed. . . that's what he said. . . I will bring nothing but bad luck to anyone who gets close."

Yume stood staring at him for a moment before she gave him a disapproving look and waved her hand in his face. "Lute? Earth to Lute! Please come back to us! You are here and you aren't leaving till your mom gets back." She just wanted to snap him out of his day dream and get him to smile again.
"Cursed? Awesome! Please do tell. I love magic but my parent's say it isn't good for me to like it." She smiled brightly moving in front of Lute and sitting down to watch him.
Yume smiled and nodded towards Lex. "You see. We are your friends and we don't care about any old curse."

Lute stared for a few moment more before looking down at them with a cute soft sadden look. "I don't know about it." He said softly. "It's just what my father said when he. . . It doesn't matter. . . I'm here now. . . it's over." His eyes moved around the school. "Is it really possible for someone to be born evil?" He frowned some as if he was trying to figure that out still. "If so. . . it's not right. . . they should be given a chance. The weak shouldn't be killed off eirther like tsu said. . . we . . . if we can live we should be given a chance."

Both girls looked at each other and blinked. It was Yume who spoke first. "What are you talking about Lute? You are as from evil as I know."
Lex nodded in agreement as she stood staring at the boy. "I think so too."

Lute just nods slowly but stays slient. "I don't want to hurt others. . . but I will if I have too. . ." He glanced to them both with a soft smile. "Thank you. . . I. . . I guess I just still have alot to figure out. Maybe that's what school is here for."

Yume smiled and nodded towards Lute. She stood up and wrapped her arms around him. "Guess we all will learn soon enough." She laughed.
Lex was just shocked. She had never met anyone like these to and guessed they wouldn't be the last. Blinking over at he two she smiled. "You know Lute, you sound like my big brother. Are you one?"

Lute blushed slightly as he was hugged only to look over to Lex. "Yeah. . . I guess I am. . . I mean the woman who took me in has a little girl now too. Although she's really annoying and hard to keep up with so I leave it to others alot."
