((Im not the BEST at trash talk so...yah, roll with me here. And Magenta is of course Calypso talking))
Calypso managed to sit up and gurgled back at Gangrel, glaring at him. "And that's coming from a stinky rodent whose waving his butt at me! Thats SOOO dignified! And us give up? AS IF!! You're the one who should give up rat. I would say to do it in order to save some dignity yourself but you apparently don't have any left. The only thing you could save by forfeiting is pain and a series of baths." Calypso could talk back just as much as he could.
Cara watched on a little curious as to what Calypso and Gangrel were talking about, although from the looks on their faces and the body gestures/movements, she had a feeling they weren't being friendly. "Calypso! Use Sludge Wave!"
Calypso worked her way up into a sitting position and began to summon the wall of sludgy water that would hopefully impact the upstart Rattata.

Gangrel was splashed by the sludge as he tried to wrap his head around what had happened. Running back up a tree, he contemplated the tentacool's actions. Usually, when Gangrel taunted them, his opponents just got mad, but this one was talking smack back. It wasn't that good, but he did have to give credit for trying.
A smile crept onto the rattata's face. [Excellent. A game within a game.]
[Big talk coming from someone looking so much like a fish out of water. I heard roast squid is quite a delicacy in some places, want to find out if that's true?]
As he spoke, his eyes turned a faint yellow as electricity danced about his body, culminating at his whiskers and being unleashed in a Thunder attack which he launched directly at Calypso.

In the trainer's box, Walpurgis cocked his head at Gangrel's behavior. The rattata had always been a bit of a jerk, but he seemed to be wanting to go overboard this time. He smiled.
"Well, at least he's having fun."

Calypso was sent flying back but she managed to get up and shake the damage off. "Damn rat." She gurgled as she got back up. "Why don't you just shut your squeaker and stick to what rats are good at, finding cheese and spreading pestilence upon the lands." Calypso then reared up and sent another wave of sludgy water at the rat once more, being under the effects of 'Taunt' for another turn.

((Yeah, I did mean Thunder, sorry about that.))
Gangrel's body was mucked with sludge as he retreated deeper into the trees. Gangrel was weary of this chase. The tentacool was right - he WAS good at spreading pestilence. But there was something he was better at.
Leaping down the tree, he began gnawing the bark away. After a good 3/4 of the trunk was whittled away, he swung his tail around in a sharp motion, snapping the weakened tree, causing it to topple over.

Red light consumed the exhausted rattata as Walpurgis recalled him to his pokeball. He saw what was to happen, and knew the battle was over.

The tree suddenly came down upon Calypso, who despite her best efforts, couldn't move in time. Cara's eyes widened in shock as it fell on her tentacled friend. "Aw crap..." She muttered. After a few moments though, the dust settled a bit and there seemed to be some movement. from under the upper limbs of the downed tree. A greyish-blue tentacle appeared and then another, soon Calypso had pulled herself out from under the debris. She was beaten and worn out but was still awake, which meant she was the victor.
Cara smiled in glee. "Way to go Calypso!" she shouted then pulled out the pokeball that belonged to the watery creature. "You did a great job, return!". Cara then waved over to Walpurgis and shouted over, "Great match!"
