Mina hoped the now successful dose of paralyzation wouldn't hinder Trist too much. She was not especially familiar with its effects when it came to her own Pokémon, but she didn't want to find out.
"Try to get through it, Trist! Use Facade!"
Trist grunted when the Thunder Wave hit, its effect immediate and showing in his labored movements and slowed gait. At the very least, he was on nice, hard, even ground, and he did not fear tripping should be be paralyzed at the last minute.
On Mina's word, he charged towards the Emolga.

Dusty was no longer confused. She flew in circles before trying to use acrobatics to attack the Girafarig.

Suddenly, things were looking so well. Trist had been immobilized and the Emolga was once again free to move. Still, it was too early on to say.
"Try again!" Mina insisted.
Trist shook himself when the attack hit, frowning at a new-formed bruise. At the very least, it had snapped him out from his earlier, paralyzed position, and now that he was free, he attempted Facade once more.

Trist was once again paralyzed, and he grieved over the loss of his freely-moving limbs. However, the battle was far from over yet, and there would be little time to mourn now. Trying to shake some life into his legs, he once again attempted Facade.

Dusty dodged the facade attack. She then lands on the ground then tried to heal herself using roost.

Normally, Trist was not the type to become frustrated, but he found his lack of motion increasing irritating. He was simply glad that he had not been too hurt during the ordeal, and attempted another Facade.

Mina sighed, relieved. It appeared that Trist had come out of his paralyzation, if his sudden movement was anything to tell by.
"Good job!" she encouraged. "Now strike back with Confusion!"
Trist dodged the next round of Thunder Wave easily, his long legs atop the flat field aiding him immensely. When he heard Mina, he aimed another Confusion at the Emolga but kept up his run.

Dusty was hit with the confusion attack. She tried to use another thunder wave attack. The Emolga worried that the thunder wave would miss though.
