There was nothing Ark could do as the rock smashed into her. It lowered her defense but it also cracked the ice that froze her.

A big chuck of ice was broken off when the next rock hit. Ark could now move her head. She glared at the rat pokemon while growling "Zzzzuuuuuu"

With the precision of a master, Gangrel hawked a lugie at Ark before sending another rock crashing into her.

The lugie only landed on the ice and not Ark. She looked down at it and then was hit with another rock. She raised her head up to blandly stare at the rat. He was so toast after this!

Ark was knocked to the ground and it took her a little bit to get up. But she did get up and quickly used Counter on the rat. There was no way she was giving up already!

Gangrel slid back from the blow, but smiled mischeviously as he sent another rock to crash into Ark.

Ark didn't stand a chance when she got hit with the next rock. She went down and this time she didn't get up.
Doyle stepped up to Ark and gently patted her head. "It was a good try Ark." He whispered before recalling her, "Good battle! We'll have to have a rematch some time." He then stood up and left.

Walpurgis nodded to the trainer, and Gangrel regarded the Zorua with a bow of respect (althought Walpurgis got the inkling it was half sarcastic.)
"Well, it'd be a waste just to use the stadium for that, wouldn't it?"
Gangrel chattered excitedly as he frollicked around the playground having a blast.
