The ice began to crack more and more as Dante wiggled and moved every part of him he could. Cara noticed this and as the Rattata moved closer Cara knew he would break free. "Dante dodge it and use Dig!!" She called out smiling.
Dante finally broke free of his icy prison and dodged Rattata's attack by quickly digging down into the sandy ground. He moved quickly and effectively, warming himself up as he moved. That rat had messed with the wrong cat.

Rattata watched him go underground and tried to dodge but his lower half was got caught by the cat when it popped back out. He turned his head in mid-air and fired a ice beam at the big cat.

"Dodge it Dante, and use Hypnosis!" Cara called out. It was highly unusual for her to have Dante use Hypnosis but, when the situation called for it, like it did here, it was good to have it available.
Dante swiftly dodged the Rattata's ice beam and got right in front of it. He then started moving his tail back and forth like a clock in order to try and hypnotize his foe into subconsciousness.

"Great job Dante, now use Payback!" Cara shouted out.
Dante powered up the dark energy he needed then shot off at the sleeping rat. When he got close enough he released the attack.

Abby racked her brain, she didn't know what to do she was just so new to this. "RATTATA WAKE UP!" she yelled, her voice thick.

There was no way he was getting up anymore. So Abby jumped down off the platform and picked him up. She looked up to the other trainer, "That was a good battle. We should do it again some time but now I have to make sure the front dest heals him. tata for now." Abby ran off to the front desk.

Cara smiled as the attack hit it's mark. Her smile grew as the Rattata failed to get up and the battle was called in her favor. "Way to go Dante!" Cara called out as she too climbed out of her trainer's box and ran over to her pokemon, embracing him in a warm hug. Dante purred and rubbed against her in happiness. Cara looked up at Abby and smiled, "I agree, definitely a great battle, and we should definitely do it again some time. I need to get Dante checked out too. See ya later!" Cara called after the girl who quickly disappeared in the distance. She looked down at Dante who looked up at her pleased. Cara scratched him behind his ears and he purred loudly. "Awesome job Dante."
