Jordan laughed, unable to not be charmed by her giggle. A tiny bit of his mind whispered that that should really bother him, but was quickly drowned out by the giddy sense of goodwill and pleased anticipation. "I think there's something weird about them," he said cheerfully.

He laughed and she grinned, finishing the second cookie rather quickly. "Weird or totally awesome? I'm gonna go with totally awesome."
You are such an embarrassment. Ugh. Atropos groaned, wishing she had a face with which to smack her palm against. Candace laughed and shook her head.
"These are so good. I'm glad I got two cookies. I don't wanna just sit anymore. I need to like...get up and do something. What about you?" Wide, excited eyes turned up from the cookie to Jordan again. She looked like a child on Christmas morning that wanted to play with her new toys.

Jordan discovered that he'd finished the cookie without actually having paid attention to what he was doing. He kind of wanted another one, but ... maybe not a good idea. But they were good.
Stop it, Ferros said grumpily.
Okay. He liked Ferros; Ferros took good care of him, and things went better when he listened to his weapon. "I think I'll just relax a while," Jordan smiled at Candace. "You go on, I'm good."

Awww? He didn't want anything? Candace actually pouted. "Awwww? Are you sure?" She gave a long, drawn out sigh and stood up. She couldn't sit anymore. She needed to like...go dance or something. Ohohoh! She had music! Lots of music to dance to!
"Okay! I'll see you later then~! Good talk, yeah?" Candace then did something she wouldn't normally do without the influence of whatever the cookies were made of; she threw her arms around Jordan in a big hug, even making a happy noise until she let go, grabbed her milk bottle and one of the cookie plates--conveniently the one with more cookies on it. As she left she hummed a cheerful rendition of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
...Well that was weird.
