Resonare Praeteriti jaimz147 Resonare Praeteriti jaimz147 Resonare Praeteriti Eldanril's a light armor sort, for the most part. She wore elven for a long time, a really long time, actually. But then she found the Nightingale armor, and it has been her go-to armor ever since. My other character, Artemis, is a mage, so Archmage robes were what she used to wear most of the time. Now, she wears royal vampire armor (DLC for the win, baby!). It definitely kicks a**, and it looks epic enough to make up for a few less magical perks. Oh, yeah, love the Nightingale armor, and the royal vampire armor does look badass. I can't wait for Dragonborn. The new armor shown in the screenshots look epic! Yeah, I'm looking forward to perhaps finding a new favorite armor suit in Dragonborn. Everything about this new DLC is amazing, from the armor to the plot...and lets not forget the major nostalgia of returning to Morrowind. emotion_bigheart And its only two weeks away! biggrin The thought of it being so close, so tangible...I MUST HAVE IT. I'm more excited for it than I am for Thanksgiving, and that's saying a lot, lol

I haven't played through the game thoroughly yet and haven't tried all the different armors yet. I don't know if I have a fav yet myself really.
What do you mean though by them only being one piece? I haven't played any of the other games yet, only Skyrim.

In Skyrim they got rid of the legs and chest plate being separate so it became a one piece back when this was announced it caused a stir since some people liked to be shirtless and so forth for role playing and such.

So I guess the one piece is now null and void debate since Skyrim does have it separate.

So I guess the one piece is now null and void debate since Skyrim does have it separate. Except it doesn't... For the most part armor is a one piece Armor is a type of apparel that is worn on the body to reduce damage from attacks. Armor comes in two varieties, corresponding to the two different skills governing armor usage: Heavy Armor and Light Armor. In addition, there are shields which provide an additional passive increase to armor rating (active blocking is governed by the Block skill). Armor comes in several pieces which can be equipped independently of each other, these pieces are: Armor: covers your legs, chest and shoulders Boots: covers your feet and ankles Gauntlets: covers your hands up to your elbow Helmet: covers your head Shield: protect and block attacks In addition to standard pieces of armor, two necklaces in the game provide an armor bonus: the Locket of Saint JiubDG, and the Amulet of Articulation. See how there are no leggings in this list Armor consists of a chest piece and leggings combined.

Ok I read it wrong then as I thought you meant that all armor (chest, boot, glove, helmet) was one piece, period, you just meant legs (which I didn't even realize was missing at all from the game until reading this very moment) and body/shirt. I was confused thinking wait a minute, helmet chest, glove, boots those are separate, lol. Ok I see now what you mean....I seriously am surprised I didn't realize that there was no leg pieces eek

To me it isn't a big deal but it does break the immersion a bit.
