"HAH! You can actually laugh!" She called back, turning around the dragon and looking at the tail. Maybe that was a tad weak. She jumped over the tail and then turned about and slammed her hooves down on a thick part of the tail, but had only managed to aim at a spike instead. "AH! No fair! You're all armored!" She cried out, jumped off to find any weak point. That was the challenge. A weak spot on a dragon. She'd have a better chance finding a gnome without an attitude.

"Of course I can laugh! What made you think I couldn't?" Jericho said while watching Calder run off behind him. He felt a slight hit in his tail but barely so. Turning around, he saw the kelpie coming up around him, in which he tried to smack her with his wing.
"The enemy won't always have weaknesses exposed! Learn to find them! Or just deal with it!"

"The fire-breathing dragon is telling me about weaknesses. HAH!" She cried out, ducking under the wing and being blow over, but it was easy to to get back up and resume her race around the dragon. All she knew at the moment that Jericho was armored, breathed fire, his head was rock solid, and his wings could blow you over. Yeah. Weaknesses. She'd keep her eyes out for THAT elusive gem.
"And of course I didn't think you laugh. You're as serious as Riley and Christof. The whole lot of ya!"

"You're just never around me at the right times!" Jericho called out while moving his head to see where Calder was running. It was true for the most part. A lot of the times, when he saw the Kelpie when she wasn't training with him, it was when she was pestering Riley. That didn't generally gain points with him.
But, at least the Kelpie wasn't staying in one place here. Watching her movements as carefully as he could, he soon raised his tail and swung out at her as she came back around.

"There is a RIGHT time to be around you? Can we always make it the right time. I like the right time better." She called out, racing around him but not fast enough. The tail was unexpected, and she was swept up and tossed about. Being throw about was not fun, not was getting hit by a tail.
It certainly stopped her as she rolled over and was momentarily stuck in a overturned turtle position, hooves up and twisting before she could roll over again. "WHAT WEAK SPOT?!" She cried out again, getting rather frustrated.
This was getting ridiculous, and she rose back up on her hooves. Running up front or behind was just a bad idea. The side was one thing she hadn't tried yet, and racing over, she rose up and slammed her hooves into the dragon's side.

"Hard to catch me in a good moment during the times you're pestering Riley you know!" he shouted while watching Calder some more. Around then, he let out a roar as he felt sharp hooves dig in near the joint under his wings. The areas under his joints were generally covered with softer scales than the bulk of his body. It was hard to tell if she figured this out or if it was just a fluke.
Snarling, he quickly turned and swiped out at the white mare with his large claws.

"Hard to do that when you're ALWAYS around Riley!" She laughed again, prancing back from her hit and backing up, noticing that that one seemed to hurt. Was that the sweet spot? She hoped so, and if it was, she was going to test out hitting it again. Seemed wings were a bit sensitive.
Before she could even think of another attack, she felt a tail slammed into her side, and this one REALLY smarted. She was floored, tossed flank over hooves and laid there a moment. That....that was one was going to bruise.

"Wrong! I am not always around her. I'm near her often, but I'm not always there," Jericho corrected. As Calder was knocked over, he took in a deep breath. It appeared that he was going to breathe flames again, but there was something different. The glow in his mouth was brighter, and when he launched out the flames, the plume was about twice the size as his previous attacks.
It also seemed to burn.
Sort of.
He needed to work on it a bit.

Fire! WHY did it have to be fire. She was just healing from fire from the field trip, and now it was fire again. At least this didn't sting as much, but it was odd, and she worried if it would be a delayed burn like that fire Red had.
Rolling up back on her hooves, she dashed away and panted. "LAME! I don't have special fire!" She cried out. Then she noticed something warm, and turned around to see her tail on fire. "AHH!" She dashed about in circles before rolling on the ground to snuff out her tail.

Jericho laughed again as Calder whined about the flames.
"You're a KELPIE. Why would you have fire in the first place? Don't gripe about what you don't have. Work with your own strengths!" he said before laughing again as he saw her stop dropping and rolling. With a draconic grin, his wings spread out again.
"Here. Let me help you out there," he said as he began to flap hard to try and blow her over.

"NO! I don't need hel-" Too late. She was tossed by the dragon's wind. Again, WHAT WEAKNESSES?! WHAT STRENGTHS?!! As it was, Calder was more or less a piece of paper in a strong gust - though that certainly made her feel less worrisome about her weight.
When she finally got some footing, she got up on her feet and moved towards the wind. The only strengths she had was her looks, her speed, and her kick. As the wind wasn't helping with her speed, she went for the strength in her legs and moved away from the winds back to the head.
"Jack, your wings are SO ANNOYING!" She cried, and went to run under the dragon's head, only to stop and kick back up at his chin.

Jericho's head snapped up as he was kicked under the chin. Ah that smarted a bit. Moving his jaws a bit to try and shake off that pain, he soon looked down and unleashed more fire onto the kelpie. After he was done spewing flames, he flapped his wings down hard and essentially jumped back a good distance to put himself a little further away from Calder.
"Annoying to you. To me, they're great!"

The wind thing was not something she was getting used to, and while she went to avoid the fire, the wind was there to quickly hit where the fire missed. She did not have claws to grip, but she did lower her head down and push against it as if she was scaling a terrible just against a mountainside.
That didn't mean it didn't hurt. The wind kicked up rocks and debris that pelted her and stung, but she kept moving. Wings seemed to hurt it, but that was too much like ASKING to be blown away.
So she went to where a leg was, and then kicked there near the underbelly. If punching someone in the gut hurt, she hoped punching them in the chest even while armored hurt just as much.

Jericho let out a roar as he was kicked in the underbelly, right by where his leg was. That had hurt quite a bit, and to be honest, he wasn't too sure how much more of his whittling he could take. Probably not much. With a snarl, he whipped his tail around to lash at the kelpie, hoping to end this soon.

Calder wasn't even looking at the tail, and already winded, was hit HARD by the tail. This really sent her tumbling and when she finally settled, she stayed up.
There was a feeble attempt to get back to her feet, but it was just that. An attempt, and she flopped back down. She grunted, and blew some hair out of her face. "Alright...." She groaned. "........game over. You win." Not surprising in the end, and Calder remained laying down. Yeah. Good old ground.
"I'd ask for a do-over, but I like being alive." She grunted, giving a chuckle before she winced. Yeah, all things were smarting right about now.
