Letting out a loud hiss as the attack hit across his face and made the little beast cry out in a mix of anger and pain, he couldn’t help being upset, everything was beginning to swim and this battle still seemed far from over and yet so very near to the end. Lifting up his ears and letting out a long hiss Lookit quickly fluttered away from the high spirited little electric bug type.
Flicking the silver piercing set at the right corner of her lip River grunted then down cast her vision, a bright red hue of rose finding its way across her pale cheeks. This wasn’t looking good, not at all. “Lookit, Hypnosis!”

Jenk felt like the battle was getting to a close, and she couldn't help but be pleased. Joltik was a reliable little guy; she'd have to look into getting one for herself. For now, though, the focus was on the battle. She watched the Zubat as it flew away lazily, hissing at the Joltik.
"Alright, Joltik, don't get cocky!" She warned. "Sucker Punch! Let's take him down!"
The Joltik clicked its claws together, then ran towards the zubat, zipping left and right and left again before swinging with one claw at the zubat. Jenk watched, eyes widening a fraction with anticipation.

"Way to break my heart Jenk," River exhaled sadly, glossy moisture gathered at the corners of her eyes, it was apparent that the girl was mere moments away from shedding tears. Pulling out Lookit's pokeball the longhaired redhead collected her fainted partner, he had tried so hard and faired as best he could have against such a tough rival. "Well the best trainer won."
Flicking the tip of her tongue across her lipring River smirked wolfishly towards the blonde on the opposite end of the field. "Do you want a kiss for winning?"

Jenk looked sheepishly apologetic as River called the zubat back into his pokeball. "He's a tough fighter." She said, calling Joltik back to her and pocketing the pokeball to take it back to the rental kiosk. "Don't get down about it." She smirked encouragingly. "Everyone loses."
She laughed a little as River went from near tears to wolfish flirting, and shook her head. "Maybe next time." Her eyes gleamed a little. "If you win, that is. Gotta give you some incentive, right?" Jenk nodded to her, laughing quietly, and headed off her platform to return Joltik to his rightful owner.
