Hanging out with Nate generally meant getting in trouble. It was just an unwritten rule that he had to abide by, and everyone else had to accept.

Nathan gave her as charming a smile as he could manage, which was quite effective barring the fact that she knew him too well to fall for it. He was a devil in disguise, and he knew it, but he liked to play innocent when he could.
