Surprising, Mac didn't step back as the ghoul approached him again. The hand on his arm was looked at, and with a sigh he placed his own on top of it. Yes it was terrible, and yes he was devastated, but it had to do it. He had a reason behind it. Remember, Mac? You had a front to keep up.
SUddenly, the hand on hers tightened, pulling the gesture of concern away from his person. He was no longer deflated, in fact he seemed to have steeled himself again, his black eyes as hard as they were dark.
"I told her to hit the road." He said flatly, trying his best to bring that annoyed tone back to his voice. In a few strides he was at the door again, holding it open for her expectantly. "Goodbye, Mitsu."

For a moment, just a moment, Mitsu thought she had gotten through. Mac was almost like a normal person in this instant with feelings and everything. Then, at the drop of a hat Mac's expression changed, hardened. It looked like he was reverting back to his bad mood but Mitsu had seen a glimpse of what she was certain were his true feelings on the matter. Her ears folded back as he tighten his hold on her hand and pulled it away before moving to the door.
His words, while harsh, didn't hold a convincing conviction behind them. Still, Mitsu moved toward the door, the box with her mask still in hand. She paused looking up at the reaper as if trying to come up with something to say. She didn't know the reason why Mac had broken up with Lizzy but she knew he wasn't being truthful with himself. "Maybe you need this more than I do." She opened up the box and shuffled around the blanket until she pulled out her mask. This was how she used to hide, it was her security blanket, she was just now realizing Mac's 'security blanket' was his foul attitude.

"Are you done?" Mac said flatly after she finished speaking, still holding the door open for her. If she didn't leave soon, he'd...augh! He'd force her out if he had to! Hard black eyes still bore down on her, doing his best to bury anything that would compromise what he did. Mitsu was indeed correct to assume that his security blanket was his attitude; it had served him well in the past, why stop now? Not so subtly, Mac nodded his head out the open door.
"Goodbye, Mitsu" He said again, about ready to grab her and throw her out himself.

There was a light sigh before Mitsu held out the box and blanket for Mac to take, holding her mask close. "Yes, I guess so.." Heading toward the door again the werewolf paused for a moment, looking at Mac like she had something else to say. Instead her eyes fell and she simply nodded. "Goodbye, Mac." Maybe it just wasn't her place to do anything but at the moment she was also concerned with how Lizzy was doing.
Taking her leave of the reaper's room Mitsu didn't look back as she made her way down the hall, placing her mask on the side of her head for safe keeping. She wasn't sure what to do about Mac, he was being extremely stubborn.
