Suddenly opening his eyes, Erebos lunged towards his opponent. His forepaws glowed hot white as he attempted a Cross Chop.

Rio went flying back on the ice, he had to dig his paws into it in order to stop his backwards progression. "Rio!" Cara called out. The Lucario shook off the attack and stood back up on his paws, ready to go once more. "Use bulk up again." The Lucario once again sat and tensed up his muscles focusing his power on defense. Cara knew they didn't really stand a chance unless they upped their Defensive and Offensive game like their opponent.

Erebos raised his lip, fur bristling warily as the other upped his own stats. They would soon be evenly matched again, and he would have to prepare for that if he could. Running towards Rio, he attempted a Blaze Kick.

Rio stood his ground, cringing from the burn. Cara herself cringed as her beloved Lucario was hurt once more. 'Bloody hell...' She thought. "Hang in there Rio. Use Bulk Up again!" Rio nodded and focused his energy once more, trusting his trainer's strategy.

They burn did little damage due to the ice, but they were once more even now. Frowning, Erebos tried another Blaze Kick, his leg lighting up with fire when he attacked.

"Rio! Dodge it and use Bulk Up once more!" Rio nodded, his burn dissipating as he swiftly moved out of the way of Erebos's attack. Cara sighed in relief as the other Lucario's attack missed and Rio's burn disappeared. Cara smiled and heaved a sigh of relief. Rio once again began to focus and raise his attack power.

Rio had the advantage now, and Erebos would have to be even more careful when dealing with him. Still, he tried another Blaze Kick.

"Rio! Dodge and use Blaze Kick!" Rio swiftly dodged Erebos's attack, moving between ice covered rocks. Now that the burn had dissipated and healed he was back to full strength. He started gathering heat and power in his legs and went in close for the attack.

Erebos snarled when the other came at him with a burning kick, ears flat as he he tried to prevent the other from charring too much of his skin. With a lunge, he imitated the attack.

"Great job Rio, keep it up!" Cara called out. Rio nodded and kept a calm face, eyes concentrated on his opponent. "Use Aura Sphere!" As Rio ran at Erebos, he began to form the glowing sphere in his paws, as he got closer, it grew and grew. When he was close enough, he sent the orb shooting straight at the other Lucario.

((Herp, not used to raising defense. I think I did the math beforehand wrong, so I fixed it but I'm not sure. P: Does it look all right with you?))
The Aura Sphere followed his trail, rendering it unavoidable. He should know, having used the attack numerous times himself.
Knowing it was pointless to try and evade, he ran at it to shorten the distance between he and Rio, allowing it to strike him in his path to attempt another Blaze Kick.

Both Cara and Rio both growled lowly. Rio cringed in pain from the burn, the kick sending him sliding across the ice a short distance. Cara sighed, worried about her Lucario. "Rio, use Blaze Kick!" Rio took off toward Erebos, readying another firey kick.

Erebos' attack hit, but he was given an equally forceful attack in return. He growled in pain, feeling his fur singe, and backed away to shake off the mild flames. When they had dissipated, he ran back to deal a Cross Chop.

Rio growled out in pain as Erebos's attack hit it's mark. He was sent flying back again but regained his footing. He cringed once more as the pain from the burn grew. Cara's hands clenched tighter as she watched the battle become fiercer. "Rio, use Aura Sphere!" She called out. The lucario once more focused his power into his paws and shot it straight for Erebos.

((Derp, just noticed your message at the bottom. Burn = status condition/not an attack = not affected by stats, so you still need to subtract 150 HP from your total.))
Erebos used the same tactic he had before. Although both Lucarios had been forced away from one another with their blows, he quickly emptied the distance between them on quick paws, ready to deal another Cross Chop
