"That's awfully nice of you to foster. I'm sure someone will want a kitten." He wanted a kitten, as strange as it sounded in his current form, but sadly allergies didn't allow it.

Wolframite watched with interest at the spot where Dogby was sniffing, wondering what sort of kitten was under there. Was it smaller than him? He certainly hoped so, though he didn't feel as big as other cats he passed by - and he hoped this one wasn't a clawer. From his spot on the couch, ears up and eye wide, he noticed it didn't seem the kitten would make it's appearance anytime soon. Wolframite could not blame him with the lapping dog about.

Instead, he shivered a bit, and went back to slip underneath Tony's jacket and then poke his head out. It was warmer under the jacket.

As for the questions, he was rather surprised. "Are all people on the street so used to how strange our city is now?" He had to ask, baffled. To have a normal man just accept a talking cat was rather surprising. "...you met another talking cat? When?" He tried to appear as simply curious, and not in the way as showing what type of kitty he really was. He wasn't about to let a civilian know he was actually a boy and one of those "Terrors of DC" on tv.

"Ah..." Tony looked thoughtful. He shook his head, moving from the sofa for a moment to grab Dogby and gently chide her, bringing her back to the sofa and sitting down with her in his lap. She grumbled softly, her version of a purr ever since the cat came into the house, and settled down almost immediately. She was a cuddle monster.

He considered the question again.

"I don't think everyone is, no," he said. he knew they weren't: he got asked a lot of questions, or just screamed at and run away from, while he was on patrol. "But I think I'm not... normal, either. I've had some strange things happen to me, been to strange places. I've seen monsters and yes, I have met talking cats."

He reminded himself not to say too much. It was nice, though, just talking about it like it was normal. For him, now, it was.

"I suppose you haven't met many people who actually know about you, then?"

Wolframite wondered for a moment if this was how guardians cats felt when asked questions, and if they met many people on the street who would question them. Already he knew that given the option of meowing or talking, he preferred talking as meowing seemed forced and very limited in getting what you wanted from others who didn't speak your language. However, talking also freaked people out, or caused them to ask the hows and whys about how you could speak. Instead, it seemed this was already discussed with possibly other cats this man had happened upon, and given how willing he was to help strange animals, he guessed it was rather natural he would find these creatures.

He still felt he was a bit odd. This man.

"No. I haven't met many people who know about me. This is all rather new to me after all. I don't' talk to people this way all that often." He continued to stay under Tony's jacket, looking around, before looking back at the man. "What have the other cats told you, and how many have you met?" He asked because it seemed like a good way to give information back to headquarters. He hadn't met many cats, and if this civilian met many, then that was a big problem. It could explain why there were a lot more senshi about.

Tony hadn't meant to come off as strange, but of course, that usually happened. He was not really able to hide what he knew, but at least he was sure there would be no guessing he was Camelot.

That would be awkward.

"I've only met a couple," he said vaguely, "and they weren't big on sharing too many details. Which I can understand, I suppose. I mean, it's not really something I'm suppose to know about, right?"

He shook his head.

"I guess I'm just used to weird things in general. You would be surprised how many monsters attack the library." He sighed, shaking his head. "Well, you must be tired. You should rest and warm up. I'll let you sleep, and put Dogby in another room so she doesn't keep messing with you. You can leave any time, I'll leave the doggy door unlocked for you."

He would have to find the kitten, too, to keep it from going outside as well. Once Dogby was secure, he found the kitten under a sofa and took it into the bedroom for the night.

The cat was retrieved, along with the dog, and Wolframite was left under the coat. "Okay." He called back, watching the man gather his things and head off to his own room, leaving the lights out but enough for him to see his way out.

And then it was quiet.

He went out, and cleaned his fur, getting the rest of the damp off of him, but he still felt wet and slightly cold. Back under the coat, he curled about, kneaded the couch cushion, and tried to get comfortable.

After several minutes, he pulled out of the coat and hopped off the couch. He sniffed about, finding some water to drink in what he hoped was the cat's bowl, and then looked around. He found a heater vent, and laid near it, but it blew too much. Frowning as much as a cat could, he moved on to the open bedroom door.

Looking about, he crept in. In some ways, he felt it was weird to enter another man's bedroom, but there was security in the fact that it seemed he was asleep. It took some attempt and some clawing on the hanging blankets until he worked himself up, and then looked for a spot. The dog was at the end, which meant he'd avoid that half of the bed. The kitten, which gathered him a curious sniff in the air, was nestled in the crook of Tony's knees as he slept on his side - which meant his chest was available.

Slinking by, he found a warm spot beside the man, and curled around in circles before he nestled down and kneaded the blanket, a low, rolling purr emanating as he closed his eyes and made himself comfortable. It was warm in this room, and it had company. Just the simple presence of a larger creature that would not harm him yet would harm anything dangerous was a security, and he curled up and rested against him, only because, unlike how he usually slept, he couldn't curl up under a blanket. He had to steal warmth from someplace else. Oh yes. Right here would work just fine.
