Flint watched in dismay as the attack landed and rush became poisoned once again. things were looking good for the bull Pokemon, before Flint could call an attack rush was using Fire blast again.

Unable to avoid the fast fire attack Zubat was smacked in the chest, again, by the fire attack. It squeaked in dismay and retaliated by throwing out another Venoshock, right as Krimson was calling for the move.

Rush dodged to one side before the attack could hit but winced at the poison sapped his strength. Rush lowered his horns and charged it in a horn attack, rush was mad now and not paying attention to his trainer.

The Zubat shrieked in pain as the Bull's horn scored a hit along it's side. It fluttered weakly before hardening it's resolve. "Again! Venoshock!" Krimson cried, one hand running down his side as if to sooth the hurt pokemon.

Rush staggered when the attack hit but managed to stay upright. summoning his strength rush loosed another fire blast

The Zubat wasn't going to go down so easily, and by now was getting used to the flames that licked it's small frame. It retaliated by swooping down, bits of flame still clinging to it, to try and drink from Rush again.

Rush was panting heavily, he had almost no energy left. With a grunt he loosed a last desperate attack, hoping to do as much damage as possible

Over it was over, The Zubat tumbled away still hungry and still very battered but fairing much better than Rush was. He chattered happily to himself and soared high in the air, "Finish it Zubat! Aerial Ace!" Krimson cried, all nervousness forgotten from the heat of a battle that was nearly over.

Rush shuddered and collapsed on the ground, slipping into unconsciousness. Flint recalled rush into his poke-ball " good battle! well have to have a re-match sometime" Flint called to Krimson before hurrying out of the stadium to the Pokemon center

The Zubat was doing lopsided victory laps around his temporary trainer as Flint called out his defeat and a possible rematch. "You bet! Thanks for the battle!" He cried, hopping up and down and waving at the others back. The Zubat settled into Krimson's hands when he asked it to, and gently held it against his chest, mindful of the burns it had received. "Come on, lets get you all healed up." He murmured, and hurried out to ask about getting the little guy some help.
