Tony felt his whole body tense, in the same way it had before but much stronger. He could barely breathe and he watched her, not daring to move at all until she pulled away and settled the matter for him. He had panicked, and he looked at her with a mixture of relief and confusion swimming in his eyes. He smiled at her, though, nodding his head.

She was overwhelmed, and they were bonded in a way that most normal people could never even dream of. Secret identities, a war to fight, kids to look after. It was all so much responsibility and weight. To be new in this world, to be facing so much with little to no information, he couldn't blame her or himself for how strange things were feeling.

They would find normal, for them, soon enough.

Not wanting to push her, he nodded his head and smiled.

"Well, you know where to find me when you need help." He took her hand and then took a step back, bowing gallantly while he held it up, as if she were royal. He looked up at her, not straightening his back, smiling still as his green eyes sparked with new life and amusement. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Lady Shalott."

He let her go after that, physically and by letting her head home. He did have a patrol to do, and once they were outside he lingered, watching her as she walked off.
