"I'm here because of moral high ground you jackass!" Bix took another glancing blow, hissing as the sword scraped across his arm. He momentarily switched hands, bow being tossed from left to right as he hopped backwards and away.
"Why do you think I joined the hunters? I have morals which you seem to think are irrelevant. Maybe you were just looking for free weapons or to be some kind of ghost buster but I want my time here to have a little more meaning and purpose. Yeah I am judging you and I'm judging everyone else too. Lucky for everyone else, they seem to be doing alright in my book."
Another couple of hops backwards and he fired on Marcus again. This time the arrow stuck him in the shoulder. "No actually.. that new kid Otto is a royal douche too. Maybe you guys should hang out sometime." He paused getting ready to avoid or block the next incoming blow.
"I'm not without fault. Everyone's got some fault. But there's nothing wrong with how I respond to you." That was a bit of a stretch but he truly believed it. "I didn't spend my life having guys like you call me a freak and treat me like they were high and mighty cause they had tans and girlfriends, to come here for a new life to make a difference and then have some p***k like you try to do it to me all over again. You are just pissed that I'm not laying down for you to walk all over. Cause I'm some weird pale nerd who doesn't wanna see your tongue shoved down any girl's throat. Cause that's ******** gross and disrespectful to everyone around you and even people you think are friends probably think it's innapropriate. Do you really need to be crawling all over some girl in order to make a public appearance? Who's got image issues, really?!"

Marcus just raised an eye brow at that one. the arrow stung but- "You apparently." He rolled his eyes. "I didn't call you any of that s**t, I just thought you were annoying. You think I cam here for a weapon. Yes, I just gave up everything for the chance to have a sword that like to torment me daily by distracting me from work. Cass likes me. I like Cass. That's none of your ******** business what we do or where we do it or when. Yet it's totally cool for you to be a douche and get worked up because I remind you of ******** in high school?"

Crawling around on each other like your gonna die if you don't touch for a second." He rolled his eyes and fired another arrow. This one knicked along Marcus's cheek. "Like that guy Robert and every time he enters a room its like a goddamn soap opera. Really? Is it REALLY necessary? All the melodrama?" He'd veered off course but apparently he was lumping all of it together.
"It doesn't matter. I'm sick of talking to you. I'd rather just treat you like an inanimate pincussion since that's how you're fighting. I'm sure Cass will love it when your a** gets killed in a fight cause you guys spent more time lounging romantically than training."

Marcus was going for an eye rolling record at this rate. "Let's see, the first time we did that was when we thought we were going to die. After that post and pre missions? In the missions themselves? Sorry, can't think of any others aside from that festival where we you know, hung out. Didn't realize that was crawling all over as you put it." A slash to his torso. "And Don't lump me in with that ******** drama queen Robert. I don't run around in my boxers for ******** sake."

"Oh so I am not the only one that is annoyed by that guy?" Bix dodged slightly but still caught the blade. He was panting a bit but only because of all the dodging he was doing. He kept running slightly away to fire, only to have Marcus close the distance for an attack.
"How do you sign your life away for something like this... but then bring all the baggage along with you?" Not just emotional baggage but the actual people. Bix was a bit amazed by the number of hunters who seemed to have signed up in groups. Of course he'd veered off of the topic of hating Marcus. But he could translate that into the fight instead.
He sprinted a short distance away and fired another few arrows into Marcus's body.

"Shut up I meant people." Bix had a break as Marcus hadn't come at him. it gave him time to put a bit more distance between them and fire again.
"How did these people sign up in mass groups? Way to bring your drama along. Didn't Deus think that would be a stupid idea?" He frowned a bit but then in his head he amended the thought. Deus seemed to make questionable decisions all the time.

He laughed at though, even if it was a coughing sound. "I dunno. We got Otto, that alone says they are kind of desperate." He still slashed at him. "Take what you get."

"Ah s**t." Bix was stabbed but much like when FEAR shields were first shown to them, he was stabbed through and the sword was cleanly removed. He still remembered seeing that knife stuck into Gale's neck. It was a weird feeling. "Goddamn Otto!" Bix gritted his teeth and dashed away. "I told him a little something on the last mission." That disgusting, disturbing mission.
Feeling he was a safe distance away, he fired again. Marcus was starting to look beat up but he wouldn't just stop. Not yet anyway.

Another coughing laugh. As the arrow hit, he knew he was going down. Only a matter of time. "Did you tell him to stop being a brat? Or did you punch him with your fist? That can help I'm told."

"No.. I'm not much of the 'incite violence' type." Bix was closed on and stabbed again. Marcus seemed to be rallying finally but Bix wasn't sure if the other looked like he would last much longer. "Basically told him he was a little s**t and he should shut his mouth because he woke up yesterday and he hadn't even seen a Halloween creature yet."
He side stepped and struck at Marcus with his bow again instead of firing any arrows. He overhead struck him downwards, over the back. He was panting now. That had taken a while!
"Oh and you'd be surprised how quick their attitude changes when you threaten to include it all in your Mission Report." Bix smirked at the effectiveness of paperwork. "Told him I didn't think Caelius, his squad leader, would appreciate it."

He was done man. Falling to his knees then his back, the arrows faded as he fell. "******** this man." Tired and worn out, the moon trainee looked at Bix. "You should have punched him too. The kid has no filter." Dis grumbled about stopping. "But we're done here. I'm just gonna... hang here for a bit though."
Maybe take a nap and catch a cold too.

Bix puffed up a bit. He was proud of himself. His training had been paying off and he'd just beaten Marcus. He still didn't like the guy, they wouldn't be friends, but they had at least shared a few non-hostile lines of dialogue. The weather was still misting and Marcus didn't look like he'd be getting up for a while.
"I'm not leaving you here." Bix de-summoned Mina. She was bristling with happiness that Bix had won. "Cass would be so mad at me."
He frowned a bit as if this was being absolutely forced and leaned down to sling Marcus's arm around his shoulders. The other was bulkier than him but he could manage him long enough to get to his dorm or the infirmary.
Perhaps Bix wouldn't be 100% hostile 100% of the time from now on.
Perhaps.

"Augghhhh" Why couldn't he just like- nap or something. "Cass would get mad with me for being lazy." And for getting sick. "And for the record, if Cass asked, we never fought. She'd get upset if she found out. If anything, I'm willing to forgo out s**t for her sake."

"Fine.. fine." Bix headed back to the building, doing his best to keep Marcus on his feet. "Chicks.. they just don't get that guys fight." He was definitely simplifying what had happened here.
Were these guys friends? Probably not. Could they get along? Most likely but Bix would NEVER admit it until he'd pushed his pride aside.
That just hadn't happened yet.
