Stribog flew away from the frozen block that was a Zubat and prepared to attack. His wings began to glint and soon he was swooping in for a Steel Wing.
"Come on Stribog!" Alexa cheered.

This was, in the words rattling around in her head, epic fail. For a few moments River could only stand in place, fist balled at her side when the steel wing connected roughly into her pokemon. The sneer that was etched across her pale face betrayed the subtle good-looks that normally claimed dominancy as a distinctive feature, she was beyond words, beyond upset at this bird-brained brat. Flicking her tongue over the small silver loop at the right corner of her mouth the former dancer let out an enraged exhale. This was so humiliating.
“Lookit,” aggressively screamed the red haired youth that demanded attention. “If you don’t break out of that ice I swear we won’t go out on our dinner date! So no fully loaded potato skins or hot wings for you, chubber!”
At this the pudgy, purple furred creature let out a shriek of pure agony. Fluttering his wings with a new found vigor the hooded zubat cracked the ice that had surrounded his plump body then quickly rose into the air. There was no way he was going to lose out on his favourite foods! No way!

"Let's try and keep 'em on ice Stribog!" Alexa yelled out.
Stribog opened his beak and again used Ice Beam. Only this time he was aiming to freeze the Zubat again. It was the safest way to be able to dish out damage.

"Stop it! Just stop it! I give up! You win just leave my pokemon alone you stupid fu--- AHH! I give up! Call your dumb bird off!" Angrily screamed the crimson haired teenager as the girl in front of her commanded her winged menace to use his icebeam yet again. This was a losing battle and their was no way that she would be able to recover from it.
"I'm f*cking serious, stop the battle, please!" Just as River screamed yet another set of profanities Lookit let out a cry as the ice weight his frame down, it however was the sound that came from her zubat that made the girl grit her teeth and bite her lip. He wasn't ready to throw in the towel yet. Not yet.
"Nevermind, whatever! Finish us off if you have the ability to do so! Lookit, stay strong!"

Alexa was about to stop Stribog when River said to stop. But then the Zubat made a noise and River changed her mind. "Fine then. We'll finish this off then." Alexa said, "Ice Beam 'em Stribog! Finish 'em off!"
Stribog flew around waiting for his next command when he got it he flew near the frozen Zubat. He shot out another Ice Beam aiming to finish the battle.

Wiping the corners of her eyes as the ice attack connected with her already frozen pokemon River couldn’t help but cover her eyes and shallowly breath between her slender digits. It was a losing battle but, she was a trainer now and she had to stay strong. If not for herself, then for her pokemon.
“Hang in there Lookit, I know you are trying your best. Just stick in there a little longer. I will get us some cacao after this is all over buddy.”
In retort Lookit flexed his enormous purple wings trying to free himself from the cold prison that crushed the very air out of his lungs as blistering shards sliced into his exposed upper half.

"Again! Finish 'em off this time!" Alexa shouted to her bird pokemon. Hopefully it would put the poor bat out of his misery. She hated dragging the battle out when the Zubat was so exhausted.
Stribog complied and fired another Ice Beam.

It was over, wasn’t it? Peeking through the gaps of her fingers River stared towards the pleasant grassy field and was completely breathless when she spotted Lookit panting heavily and lifting his head from the ground. He was so weak and weary from the last attack however it seemed the in the vicious assault of ice fractured the shell that had encased his tubby frame freeing him from the wintry prison. “It is okay Lookit, you did a great job, retur----”
Hissing and flapping wildly the purple bat took to the air and ignored his trainer, he wasn’t done. Not yet. Fluttering with the very last ounce of strength left in his small body Lookit dove towards his opponent and screamed at the bird aiming to confuse the beast.

Alexa was quite shocked to see that the Zubat was still willing to battle. She thought for sure that last Ice Beam would finish him off. "Your Zubat is one tough guy!" She yelled out to River, "Stribog. Use Aerial Ace to finish this!"
Stribog didn't feel up to doing much. Everything was so confusing! Ever since that bat screamed at him, every thought he had and even the things his trainer said didn't make sense. He flew around haphazardly before trying to use Aerial Ace.

Even though the bird swayed with confusion there was a brightness in his eyes, he was not about to fall prey to the supersonic attack. Within a fraction of a heartbeat the final blow fell upon Lookit knocking him clear out of the sky, for a few moments the purple lump attempted to move however it was soon apparent that he was completely Knocked Out.
Toying with the pokeball on her hip River reluctantly pulled it from her belt and pressed the return buttom at the center of the device.
"You did great Lookit... take a long rest sweetie. I'm so proud of you." Lifting her head up the longhaired redhead cleared her throat and called out towards Alexa. "Thanks for you battle, maybe we can do this again next time."

Alexa congratulated Stribog before returning him to his ball. She smiled at River and nodded. "Sure thing! I'd love to battle with you again some time. Your Zubat is one tough opponent." She said. She then waved goodbye and left.
