Reading in more than one language is helpful for sure. This second time around, however, I'm reading as a repentant believer and my level of understanding has jumped considerably; I credit that to the Ruach ha'Kodesh (1 Cor 2:11, Isaiah 11:2, Jn 16:13). I've come to find that what goes for "common knowledge" is far from complete. Anyway, may we all keep seeking.
