Erebos took a quick, cautionary leap right after his attack, wary and alert for he knew that paralysis was not a lasting condition such as being frozen. Still, the Zorua looked as slug-paced as ever, and he attempted another Cross Chop. Repetitive, yes, but effective, and he saw no reason to change tactics for the moment.

Ark somehow stumbled out of the way of Erebos' attack. She then turned around with a 'Ru' and used Facade. She would get this attack to land if it was the last thing she did in this battle!

Erebos' miss was unexpected, but it did not hinder him. Instead of retreating to a safe distance first this time, he instead circled around right after Ark had moved out of the way, forepaws glowing with a Cross Chop.

This time the reason Ark was spared from being hit was due to her numb legs. She was too busy watching Erebos that she misjudge the distance from her paw to the ground. Thus she stumbled lowering her head so the Cross Chop went over her. She then rounded on him with another Facade.

Again, Erebos did not leave. The unintended dodges were almost comical to Genesis, but not to him, the battler. With a grunt, he used Cross Chop once more.

Ark was finally able to feel her legs and move freely. But it didn't last long as she was knocked to the ground. She leaped up attacking with Counter. "Zuuu." She growled.
Doyle could not believe the luck they were having. First the paralysis and then the missed attacks. Hopefully a Counter would do the trick.

Erebos felt the satisfying whack of a successful hit, but it left him little time to dodge. Ark countered his maneuvers, hitting him with a powerful fighting-type move that, unfortunately, showed the crippling Force Palm he had dealt earlier no longer affected her. This battle was nearly over, though, and he wouldn't risk another attempt at paralyisis now.
Keeping the distance short between them, he ran at her, forepaws positioned for another Cross Chop.

Ark felt great when the Counter attack hit. She jumped back putting some distance between them. However it didn't matter as Erebos quickly closed the distance and hit her again with Cross Chop. It was getting super annoying getting hit with the same attack over and over again! She returned the favor with another Counter.

Erebos was ready this time, and he circled to dodge the attack right before he pummeled into her, another Cross Chop already prepared. The way the move was done, with a wide rage despite close quarters, along with the spikes on his paws, helped raise the attack's chances of dealing critical damage.

Ark was wearing down fast. All of these Cross Chops were doing too much damage. She slowly got up from the last one and put on one last burst of speed. She used Counter as she got close.

The multiple Cross Chops were visibly wearing down on Ark. She appeared at her last reserves of strength, and her lastest attack was dodged, as well, without too much trouble. Hoping to end it, and end it now, he went for one more Cross Chop.

Ark went down hard and never had the chance to get up. She had fainted instantly, before even hitting the ground. Doyle quickly returned her to her ball and looked at Genesis. "Good battle. I'll have to toughen Ark up and then take you on again." He said. He then left to go get Ark healed.
