Thomas tried his best to keep all emotions off his face. Finally i can show these capital bastards that i will not conform to their ways. He thought as he got up onto the stage. He scanned the crowd of people and found zero's eye's there was a look of pity in her eyes. Then he finds Tal. He had only met her yesterday and now he was probably never going to get to know her. When she looked at him he slightly jerked his head at the capital building as Thomas called it. Hoping that she understood he wanted her to see him. "Heh, i say those stupid things yesterday and then i meet Tal. Now I"m going to lose her." He says under his breath. Suddenly he realized that he Hoped She would volunteer. C'mon please. If i die i want to die with you. Please just volunteer.

Thomas saw the look in Tal's eyes. She was contemplating on weither she should volunteer or not. He nodded. Hoping she knew he was telling her to volunteer. Please let her know what I mean. Please. If she volunteers we can both make it out and be happy. Just let her know what I mean.

Talia looked into Thomas' eyes and knew that he wanted her to go in with him. But how could she? She had her family and everything else to worry about. She wanted to go with him. But she didn't see how she could. It would be too much for her family. There was no way she could go into the Games with him. She would have to wait here for him. And when she went in to say good-bye, she would tell him to win for her. To be able to see her again. And then she thought about her locket and touched the base of her throat. It sat there patiently. She pulled her wallet out and stuffed a picture of herself into the locket before putitng her wallet back. That would be one of her parting gifts to Thomas. So that he would think of her and win for her.

I waited on the stage of what seemed like to be hours ,but it was not it was just minutes.I looked around looking for my younger sister first.Not being able to see her in the crowd I count on my older sister bringing her there when we say our goodbyes,And when I think about it maybe if I stay positive and think of this like a outing to go hunt, perhaps I can get out of this alive.Yet again I smile at the camera.Maybe because I am to shock to do something else or maybe because it comes natural to me ever since my parents died or even perhaps I am telling the other tributes that I am positve and being positive can get you threw things better then negative.Stupidly never really ever looking at my arm muscles I decide to look at them. On the big screen so I flexed them they were preety big but not to big.Then I let go remembering that this will show on the reaping for all districts to see.Stupid me I am gonna look like a fool.I thought about how medium sized they were now why couldn't I climb a tree.Then I thought back to that kid's shoes they were not ordinary dress shoes that you get when your feet our done growing because the capitol makes them discounted to infuence what you wear.They were homemade like.So now I know its the feet giving me the problem.I sighed and poped myself back into reality.Then I thought I never ever looked at the mentor for all of district 12 tributes before.Well before I had no reason too I wasn't called for the reaping.I looked behind me and saw what will be our mentor.Well he had looks I am guessing if he wast drinking all the time.He also haves muscles yet again looking at the bright side.Then noticing that now he know's I am looking at him I turn back to the front and stand strong and tall yet again not knowing how much longer this will take..

Looking around I saw every one start to talk and I knew they were braking evrything up.I decided to look around seeing this may be my last time to see my beloved home.Well liked home cant say I love it but its home.I looked around.Then the peacekeepers came 4 of them around me as I saw every one start to dispatch.I knew they were gonna take me to the justice building it turns out you get three minutes with each loved one or friend of course only like 3-4 groups can actually see you so you get like 12 minutes tops to say good bye to every one.I looked back one more time then the peace keepers herded me away. I was a bit fed up with how slow they were going I kept stepping on the back of the front ones shoes.I finally was herded into the Justice building were they loked the door shut and I waited for my family and maybe one friend to come if I was lucky enought to have made one in the past years.I sat down on this nice red velvet is what they call it couch and I waited.

This was now day 27 of the hunger games I decided not to sneak out of watching the remaining of the games.Theese games took a whole lot longer then usual.Ginger made it to the final four ,and now that she is fighting a career I have little asurance she can make it to victory.But after she gets a few swipes in on the career I guess anything is possible.Just then it went to another fight where a district 3 tribute and a district 5 tribute were fighting eachother back and forth.The district 3 person made a final swipe and the last male in the hunger games died.My eyes rose Ginger made it to the final 3 ,but what's the sense of suffering this far if she did not win.I shook my head I could not believe just after a hour of meeting ginger and getting to know her and that was with zero that I actually wanted ginger to win.Now this was a first I usually am quite sucluded from every one but perhaps the reason why I became what seems like close friends within a hour with ginger ,was because Ginger just seemed so happy liveing in district 12 compared to every one else ,and innocent ,and she was older then me.Maybe the reson why was because she gives hope that you can be happy in such a bad district.I shrugged maybe its not that maybe its my feelings for next years quarter quall thats getting me.I want to get into the hunger games every year but the quarter quall is different it tends to be twice as long or twice as short and 10 times more grewsome and I did not want to be in that.I continued watching the district 3 girl did not even look like she knew that she beated the district 5 kid due to her being parshed.
