Review: Raktajino, the Klingon Coffee Alright, first review on a coffee ever, and I have to say, this is pretty much a Klingon drink, because first taste, I uttered the drinks supposed nickname: Dam. The allspice can definitely be tasted, but it doesnt overwhelm the chocolate and coffee, instead, it blends itself in and attacks when you least expect it too, much like a Klingon Warrior out on the hunt. The aroma itself can be misleading as you cant smell the spice at all, just the chocolate and coffee with cream. It isn't strong unless you go for 2 spoon fulls for a regular sized cup, or 3 if you have a larger cup like I do, but it still puts a fire in your step like any other coffee should. Finally, whe mixed, it can fit in a resealable tupperware bowl or even an old instant coffee container for easy transport and use. All in all, if you need a good drink that will make you feel like you are grouping with the best savages of the final frontier, this is your wake-up call! 4 out of 5 Stars gaia_star gaia_star gaia_star gaia_star

Well you're not drinking the poop itself. The beans that the coffee is made from has been eaten by civets. It's apparently really good. I'd be willing to try it, if someone bought me a cup.

But the bean's weren't saturated in poop, they just passed through the animal's digestive system. It's apparently the most expensive coffee in the world.

I just made a new coffee recipe. It is a variant on a nightkiller and I call it an angry elf.
Since I use a french press, you might have to adjust.
2 cups spring water 4 tbsp ground coffee kenyan/sumatran mix 2 tsp vanilla sugar (more to taste if you have sweeter tastes) 1/2 tsp instant espresso powder hint cinnamon dash allspice 4mm crushed vanilla bean segment
Bring water to temp and let that steep for 4m30s.
Pour into a huge mug. Splash of dairy creamer of choice (I use half and half because I am a fat, awful person rofl ) and it should turn slightly reddish if it's right. 1/2 tsp of Southern Comfort optional but highly suggested.
Garnish with family resentment and wincing at your bank account. rofl
Description: The smell is a subtle mix of coffee and holiday spices reminiscent of a christmas morning. The coffee, smoothed out by the espresso powder, clings to the palate and gives way to a subtle flavor of vanilla and spices. The Southern Comfort adds a small amount of dryness and vasculates the mouth, amplifying the overall flavors rather than hitting a hard, alcoholic note.

I am sorry that I do not post more often. For mundane people, I don't know. For us coffeehounds, we could just will it into being by focusing very hard. rofl Also: How to make Vietnamese Coffee http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4kyojtHJb0I once did this in a Vietnamese restaurant, the owners thought I was magic since apparently a slobbish white guy know how to do this is amazing. rofl
