Agent TIM pulled in to the drive of the Piece HQ in a shiny black 1973 hardtop two-door Lincoln Continental. Although such a car hasn't been manufactured for almost 40 years, it looks like it just rolled out of the factory. It even still had that... awkward new-car smell to it.
After parking his car in a shady spot, he strolled briskly through the front door. "Aha. Good afternoon, ladies. I see I'm not the first to arrive. Driving does take longer than teleportation, but it has its charms, nevertheless.
"Seems like a nice place you have here, Ms. Sedgwick. Spacious, secluded... lots of... growing room.
"I was intrigued by your invitation to come join this... 'Piece Institute,' or what have you. But I admit, I'm still a little fuzzy on what it is we're hoping to accomplish here. Perhaps you can enlighten me"

Artemis picked up her coffee cup, taking a sip before speaking. "Agent TIM! Glad you could join us here." She cradled the cup in her hands, letting the dull warmth seep into her hands. "The creators of our lands, have litte or no intention to allow our Zurg friends, a part from the ones that voluntary stayed here or drank the energy drink, to return. If we want them to return even if just for a quick visit, we have to show interest in the matter. It won't be very effective if just one or two people are appealing to the creators for a change of heart..."
Artemis took the final mouthful of her coffee. " We need to group together and work as unit for a chance that it will work. Many voices are stronger than just one."
She started to walked towards the break room again, cup in hand. Turning around, "Would you like a cup of coffee, tea or water? Your drive here was surely tiring."

Agent Zi jumped up. "You didn't happen to bring any of that material I ordered, did you?" She knew full well this was not even possible, as TiM had left the GiB compound a little before Zi. She was famous for her impatience, and pretending to be asleep had gotten boring.

Agent TIM turned to answer Artemis. "I don't tire easily. But a hot drink would be nice, thank you. Whatever you have on hand.
"As far as our Zurg... "friends," go, I'm always in favor of interplanetary cooperation. Provided they follow the rules, rather than try to make them, as Mother seemed rather fond of doing. I especially wouldn't mind hearing from Agent 07 again.
"Tell me, though, what do you mean by 'the creators of our lands'? Are you referring to our founder, the man they call Lanzer?"
Agent TIM turned to address Zi. "I may not be the head of our organization anymore, but I'm not a delivery boy, either. What did you order, anyway, and why not just have it teleported here?"

"It has to be escorted, you know--standard procedure," she expalined, "And I know you're not a delivery boy, love. I was just hoping to make things a little easier."

"Very much so, Agent TIM." With that she turned around and walked into the break room, disappearing for many minutes.
Her head popped out, "Zi, would you like anything to drink as well?" She asked.

TIM stared at Artemis blankly as she retreated into the break room. "Very much so?"
He turned to Zi. "Standard Procedure, eh? Makes sense. Wouldn't want our tech falling into the wrong hands."
TIM tried to catch Artemis' attention before Zi answered her and she ducked back in to the break room.
"Very much so what?"

"Do you have Earl Grey?" Zi asked Artemis, hopefully when she popped her head out.
Zi found herself flattening her skirt wrinkles. Her fluffy uniforms always got so many wrinkles--but, damnit she looked cute. Hopefully cute enough that people weren't intimidated by her height. She preferred this uniform though her years in Section 13 limited the time she could wear it. You wouldn't want a fluffy skirt spilling chemicals in a lab. You would back up and take everything out behind you. She glanced at TIM. "You know very well it's standard procedure," she spoke with some joy, "or has your time in retirement deadened your memories?"

A 3D gridded black hologram of a large black box appears on a clear spot of floor and then flashes grey three times before a real box appears. Out of the box steps Laff70. "Like it? It's a portal!!! It took one unidox, two photo aliners, two perpetual motion machines, two photo collides, multidimensional graspers, three Hazon carvers, three directed force emitters, wood, and some metal to make this, it was REALLY hard to make. Now who wants to help me move out this teleportal???" Laff70 said.

Artemis nodded to Zi, disappearing back in the kitchen.
She walked out minutes later, looking down at the three cups she was balancing in her hands, the heat not bothering her one bit. "I was referring to Lanzer as the creator and or founder of these lands.." She handed TIM a cup of coffee, "I hope coffee is alright for you.." She passed Zi her cup of Earl Grey, "..and Earl Grey for you."
Looking up, she saw the teleportal. "What is it? and why is it inside?"

"A teleportal is like a teleportal is like a portal in the sense that it makes two points in space and time connected where matter and other particles can pass through both ways and instantaneously arrive in the other point the teleportal is connected to. It like a teleport is the sense that it transport stuff from one point in space to another at the same time." Laff70 said while carrying the teleportal out of the portal. In the teleportal was GIB, thus another teleportal must be somewhere in GIB.

Yeata Zi She glanced at TIM. "You know very well it's standard procedure," she spoke with some joy, "or has your time in retirement deadened your memories?" "That, or you know, being dead might have deadened my memories. Unlike you, my hippocampus doesn't undergo neurogenesis unless I've had some tasty brains to snack on. And I didn't have access to our cloning labs while I was away, so it was either go for the real thing, or go without. ...I went without, by the way. dragonprincess1 "I was referring to Lanzer as the creator and or founder of these lands.." She handed TIM a cup of coffee, "I hope coffee is alright for you.." "Coffee is perfect," TIM said, accepting the cup and taking a moment to savor the aroma before drinking. His senses of touch and taste had dulled considerably during his years as a grombie, but his sense of smell was more acute than ever. "Lanzer seems like a nice guy, but I sometimes wonder if the stories about his power are true. If he was capable of controlling the Zurg in the first place, why did he let Mother threaten our planet?" Laff70 "A teleportal is like a teleportal is like a portal in the sense that it makes two points in space and time connected where matter and other particles can pass through both ways and instantaneously arrive in the other point the teleportal is connected to. It like a teleport is the sense that it transport stuff from one point in space to another at the same time." Laff70 said while carrying the teleportal out of the portal. In the teleportal was GIB, thus another teleportal must be somewhere in GIB. "Are you insane? You transported a teleportal using a portal? That violates all kinds of laws of physics. You're lucky you didn't cause all life as you know it to stop instantaneously and every molecule in your body to explode at the speed of light. Besides, Zi ordered a teleporter, not a teleportal."

"I know very unwell of what Zi had wanted, I just brought the teleportal because it's acctually SAFE unlike teleports. And how would bringing it via portal violate the laws of physics, stop all life, and make my molecules explode???

Dragon stood there, confused for the most part. Physics most definately wasn't her strong suit. She took a mouthful of her coffee. "Soooo... It sounds like a wormhole to me, just more controlled."

"There's no such thing as wormholes due to the fact that there is no fabric of space and time. But I guess it's like the concept. It's also better you don't understand physics because the modern understanding of science is based on math instead of science which pretty much makes most of its data faulty. I have a different understanding of physics that makes sense."
